hello everyone, I wanted to share some of my latest repaints, The Arcee Sisters. They are fun and tiny.. I love them! They were wrong trough, Arcee not pink enough and not a flipflop, Chromia the wrong shade of Purple and Elita was not black and blue enough.. So i fixed it all. it was fun working on such small figures and it was my first Nail-pollish paintjob ever! it took some doing but it was the only way to get the right shades and the flipflop hotpink to gold.. Before the paint, I sanded some mold-lines, Filled the screwholes and some minor gaps with plastic filler and sanded it with the finest sandpaper I had (2200 grid) to get them just right. then they got their basecolors, second coats, cybertronian texts and then I gave them their clear coats in bikeform. then I took them apart and did the details that were did not have a gloss on them, the bikeparts, tires and (especially on Elita one) the Saddles were done with leathergloss on Arcee and Chromia and flat for the alcantara on Elita-one. Then it was time to paint up the botmode and asemble them again so they can be displayed with the other SS Bots.. Granted they are a little to big but I forgive them cause they are so cute. I am working on the bases to help them stand but for now they are good enough as they are. Here are some pictures of the process and the finished result with Sideswipe for your enjoyment.
Nice, the paint looks like autobody paint from the pics. Your symbols look great and your extra mile sanding speaks for its self. Great Job, I've seen so many of these customized and yours is one of the best so far.
