Hey all. This is a custom that I did for my brother-in-law as a Christmas present. This is actually the first custom that I've done that went further than just basic paint applications and I'm pretty happy with the results!

SciFi is made from Tripwire's head, Grandslam's upper torso and arms, Ace's lower torso, Breaker's upper legs, and Destro's lower legs. I also decided to give him an Air Trooper's jetpack and gun.

Unfortunately, I broke the post that holds the upper and lower torso together so he has no upper body movement. Everything else moves, though! I know he could use some touchups here and there, but overall I think he's ok.

    Comments are always welcome!

    Pretty neat. I like it.

I kinda wish there was some modifications made to the chest plate. Maybe a little sculpting to add the other pack on his thigh.

    Nice job!

I have to say. I like the olive drab instead of the Neon Green. BTW. did you post it on Hisstank.com?

I agree with tim... and it does still look neat already too.

I agree with both tim and RED here. The custom REALLY looks cool, but I'd think a slightly different hue of green would make him scream more "SCI-FI".

Regardless, this really turned out well; great work! :thumb

I had forgotten how much the original Sci-fi looked like Robocop. The olive drab makes the figure a little more realistic to me. Between this and Slip Stream, I'm surprised by how often Hasbro will be able to use this head. Good work.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I had thought about making the chestplate a little more like the original, but I'm still not confident enough in my customizing skills to take that step! :lol  I had thought about using a different shade of green as well, but I wanted him to be somewhat more realistic and I thought this would be a good direction to take. Again, thanks for the comments! I'll definitely be trying some other things in the future!
