What are your thoughts on these? I'm looking for them to buy, but haven't had any luck yet. I'd like to hear your opinions on them though!

I think they look phenomenal! I have chrome versions and I am also getting weathered.
2X and 3X are in the mail on their way to me now!

Im torn mainly because I own the chrome set, and this weathered set looks amazing, but at the same time, my current collection is mostly MP (toon/toy mix, im not picky). The weathered set seems like it would go great with other weathered figures (weathered constructor), but i personally dont own weathered figures. That and they made some weird style choices with them. Snarl having silver legs and a silver head seems off, it looks nice, but its an odd change.

I would say if you grabbed them at their original 150ish price they are a bargain and i might consider working them in, but at the current 250-300 mark im definitely out. Thats almost the cost of a toyworld constructor just for 2 of the 5.

The paint is glorious from what I've seen but they aren't cartoon accurate and from the Bobby Skull face review it seems like the paint is a chipping hazard. I do like the new faces, if they were offered on the chrome/metallic reissues I'd dive head first into the Gigapower set.

For a while, I was interested, but held off because I was too late on pre-ordering them from the US and buying from China became a far less appealing option. Now I've cooled off on them. They look gorgeous, but they would still be second fiddle to my chrome set. They aren't true upgrades that would supplant my current set.

Hysteria. They smell like carbon, like tamiya weathering 'makeup' kit. You have to put your nose on it to smell it after it has aired out. Some people assume if there is a smell something must be wrong. If something is wrong it must be poison. Also odorless does not mean safe. Some of the most dangerous chemicals have no or little smell.

As for how they look... Amazing. They make the chrome version I own look like ko's.

I just placed and order with yxclow for both on ebay - they have 100% perfect feedback so hopefully they are good!

I've got 4 metallic and 1 chrome (by choice), and I'm very happy with them, so not willing to double dip. I will admit that had the weathered versions been available from the get-go, it would have been a tough decision to make. The paint is, without a doubt, better... what I don't like about the weathering, is its uniformity. The fact that it's so symmetrical makes it look too (for lack of a better word) "fake". It makes them look less of a battle-hardened warrior, and more of a weekend warrior.

Just ordered GutturX from Baba on eBay, plan on picking up GrassorX in a few weeks. Any word on when the next one, I'm assuming GraviterX is going to be released?

Yes, they are very good, and would display them with a weathered Devastator.

But the paint job by GUNNER would be much, much better:

I can't, unless Gigapower starts a collaboration with him.

Sorry but i don’t understand what you are asking for.

Aside GUNNER’s Constructor TW-C07F (which i’m happy to say is on the way to me, right now) i don’t own any other Transformers’ toy painted by him.
And i can’t “get my hands on” (as you say) any dinobot painted by him.

    Did i answer your question?

    EDIT
I don't know if "How'd" means "How would" or "How did". However, the dinobots on the pictures above are not mine.

Understood and no worries :)  I forget sometimes that this site isn't US only! Congrats on the incoming TW-C07F - it is a marvelous piece. The best Constructor ever done, imo!
