Are the dino legs gonna be hanging out in his calf area? On Guttur, the legs were smaller and he also has a very broad upper torso, so it actually made him look more balanced, but currently Grassor's bottom half looks a bit too wide IMO.

Are they jumping straight to chrome with this one?

 

The dino legs can collapse completely inside the lower leg in bot mode. Check the front page for pics!.

 

I bought one of the gimpy-hipped Metallic Gutturs from TCP over Christmas. Should I keep him and just hope the metallic ones come out better in the future, or say screw the metallic and buy the chrome set?

Yeah, I saw those, and really like that look, which is why I was surprised to see the latest pics. Especially considering how far the tail protrudes from the back of the legs, I was wondering what exactly they're storing in the calf sections right now.

Just wanted to make sure that configuration was still possible.

 

They've said at least that you'll get 2 sets of horns for whatever you'd like to display them as.

 

i like how his thighs are a tad thicker than gutturs. both he and sever and scoria all have small thighs, glad to see grassor doesnt.

 

I'm really looking forward to finally having a Dinobot in my MP collection. This looks fantastic...Face is kinda funny looking but there is the normal version.

 

So I thought there was some issue with producing the chrome version of Guttur which altered the mold to the point they couldn't run anymore metallic versions of Guttur?

If they're starting with chrome what does than mean for the chances of a Metallic version?

Meh. I own Guttur. Slag is my second favorite Dino. But this design has lost its luster for me. I definitely prefer the Perfect Fusion design. If this guy goes on sale for less than 150 I'll strongly consider picking him up though.

I think I may grab Giga's Grimlock (if they ever complete the team) because I think this aesthetic will really work for Grimmy, but I'm not sold on their other three like I was on Guttur's.

That looks really nice in the Chrome.

I opted for metallic for Guttur, and that does look good in person, but now I'm rethinking it moving forward.

I am not getting the Perfect Fusion one because I still prefer the look of Scoria as much as I hate the hips. But this one I'll strongly consider.

I think they learned a lot on that release that will help with all the future ones regardless of order of release. Myself, I love the way the metallic matches the MP lines look. It just appears lighter and while not shiny it seems brighter since the gold chrome is such a dark color. If it was closer to g1 toy or MP grimlock, the chrome would be a clear winner for me but with the shade they (and FT) ended up going with, I prefer the metallic.

Also you could message them, I had a broken piece on mine and they sent out a replacement part no problem.

 

I'm totally with you on the metallic look. It just seemed like their priority with the metallic/chrome versions was up in the air. Also, it would be great to get a hip fix part, so thank you for the suggestion!

 

I'm totally happy with my Scoria, but I just wanna see Grassor in dino mode.

 

keep him, as grassor was to have replacement hips for metalic guttur. if you chang your mind, youll have a fixed guttur to sell instead of the wobbly hips.
