Mine is still just past Dongguan. Maybe by the end of the week I will have update number 3? With the pace this is going and the typical amount of updates before something is delivered, i think I'll be lookin at a July delivery! This was aggravating and annoying at first, then was comical for a bit, but now I'm actually getting pissed! This was one of the first GP Dinobots I preordered, the last one I'm getting, and the most expensive! It's taking longer than when Slag was returned to sender. People that said they got ship notices on the same day as I did right after it was in stock and now receiving theirs and mine is only two steps into the shipment, its pretty ridiculous and has me legit pissed at this point. I'll give it to the end of the week to see if it makes some super speedy moves and gets to the U.S., but if not I'm gonna have to ask ShowZ what's up and if they can do anything. I still think we all overpaid on price because of shipping so if it's not moving in a timely fashion, I think some credit would be nice!

 

Can anyone who’s received theirs please tell us if this re-release has the updated stronger ankle part?

i don’t know what the old or new part looks like, and I just want to know how careful to be when mine finally arrives.

 

No updates for over a week. Was sitting in the office when I heard a loud crash this afternoon. Went outside and found a box beat to holy hell on my porch from ShowZ.

No eye stickers for me either. Tempted to email ShowZ but don’t have much hope there.

 

Mine showed up today, I couldn't find the stickers for the eyes either.

Sadly, I can't unsee the lack of arm extensions on him, lol. I am definitely interested in those. Aside from that, he looks great, and it's nice to finish the team.

 

I'm in for 2 sets.

 

Mine should arrive here in the States in the next day or two.

Boy, GP sure doesn't explain much about the stand. I've got Swoop in alt-mode and think I'll need to unscrew the top adaptor to swap it to the one that fits to the bird's chest.
Don't see nothing in the instructions about this and both reviewers either skip the stand or swapped the top adaptor off camera without explanation.

 

Not my favorite but I gotta say, everything you've done looks far better than the original! I'm gonna need to do something about this guys face too! It doesn't even fit with the original style of the others, it just looks weird and bad.

Btw, if you decide to make those arm extensions, I'm interested! I cant unsee what you did! 

That face makes me think of Homer Simpson in an elf hat for some reason! I dont know, that's just what clicked in my head!

 

I'm seriously torn on which beak to go with. The gold would be a no brainer for me with the blue chest, except there are no eyes. And it's driving me crazy. Do I switch to clear? What's everyone else doing?

Why not get a sticker with plenty of blue or some blue sticker sheet and cut out a set of eyes to stick on?

You could also get some blue paint and use a toothpick to dip in the paint then dab the drip into the eye a couple times til it fills enough. I will probably go this route. I'll post an after pic once its done!

 

My friend got my copy in yesterday and confirmed that it has no eye stickers. I'll be picking it up tonight. I'm terrible with a paint brush, I will probably find some metallic blue duct tape and use that.

 

Well I'm glad, despite how frustrating it is for us all, that it wasn't just me affected by this!

Broke out the paint brush last night, job done.

Dino or bot? My Dino is a little unstable. Haven’t tested bot.

 

My GP Swoop is a little unstable in Pterodactyl mode. His bot mode has ankles of IRON now. One of my more stable bot-mode figures - that alone makes this guy superior to the most recent reissue of FT swoop IMO
