But once the arms are out, do both of the side panels of the torso slide back out to fill in the open gaps from the arms? And if they do, can those side panels also slide back into the torso and lock in place?

Yeah, that's what I meant. But let me try it again to confirm.

Hi guys sorry for bumping an old thread but I'm having some bother with the lights for the stand, do you need the remote to have batteries to get the lights to turn on as I put two lr44 in lights and flipped the switch but nothing happened? Also what is the battery size for the remote it looks so small?

I don't think so, but if you find one, do share. I've always preferred the visor look.

Dude you should take the 170. He gets harder and harder to find. My two cents.

Very necessary imho. It solves his tipping problem. I was lucky enough to secure two sets. The first run was prone to falling. Now with the new feet he is rock solid. The ankles are stiffer and don’t have a lot of play which plagued the first runs.

Yes the remote is the only way to switch the lights on and switch between the modes. If I remember correctly. They failed to work a few months later tho.

This search tip helps, especially with a long thread like this, the likelihood someone previously mentioning the required battery types is high.
Limit your keyword search within this thread:

From the search results within this thread, I found a post from TFSafari GigaPower HQ-05 Gaudenter (MP Swoop)

His linked website lists the required battery types, GigaPower GP HQ-05R HQ05R Gaudenter (Swoop) Blue Chrome Version Giga Power 26cm / 10.5"

    Battery spec:

    2 × CR1025 for sword
    4 × AG10 for bonus light
    4 × AG4 for Remote Control

If you're in the UK, then your pound shop (or similar) may carry a variety pack of these button batteries for dirt cheap, £1. This pack has both the battery types you need for the LEDs & remote. If they don't have the CR1025 batteries, you can try either your large supermarkets, large chemist stores, or ebay/Amazon/etc....

Gotta compare the Chrome ones to the Metallics myself, but I put my POs in on the entire set since, well, that's the only way so far I can secure the entire set! Haha. Been meaning to retire my MP-08 Grimlock sooner or later with Grinder, but Superator and Friends are more than happy to play the parts until those reissues ever come to light.

Random bump but if anyone is selling the flame effects that came with the metallic set let me know. I have them for snarl and slag, so I would like to pick them up for the rest as well!

It seems that the blue chrome version of this guy is getting a reissue..... but I am really looking for a red chrome version. Does anyone know where I can find one at this late stage in the game? Thanks.
