That is extremely unfortunate but I knew I had heard people waiting years for parts and through ShowZ that mentioned the other day that Gigapower is easy getting replacement parts from! I'm glad I don't need anything from them, but there's a few parts I'd like to buy if I could, I've accepted that will never be an option.

 

I know i am late to the party but I absolutely love this guy! he is massive and really pulls off the G1 toy look

 

Got mine today, along with DS Starscream. In looking forward to putting through his paces this weekend but I at least managed to get him out of the box today. Giga Dinos 3/5 complete.

 

Has anyone done any doctoring on the dino head to try to make the eyes a little less...whatever they are that doesn't look right.

 

Got this guy in a few days ago from Show.z since he was a good price.


Wasn't all that interested in him, really, but I figured "What the hell? If I don't like him, I'll pawn him off." Once I handled him, though, I was shocked at how much I liked him. In fact, after messing with him for a bit, I actually preferred him to Graviter.

That lasted all the way until I pulled Graviter out to compare the two.

Stomp is one impressive figure, for sure, but next to Graviter he just looks....less. He just seemed to shrink when I put them together. Graviter even tried to make him feel better...

I think he might have made things worse.

"Ya got a light, buddy? AND your wallet!"

Stomp: "........."


"Ya can't just go around whippin' that little thing out everywhere. You'll shoot your eye out, kid."


Graviter: "Hey, where ya goin'?"

Stomp: "Grinder says my gun is just the right size, jerk."

I know these comparisons have been done to death, but the size and presence difference is so much more noticeable in hand. Speaking of hands, the fact Graviter can do this....

...just adds to the ways he can express poses.

I'll probably hang on to Stomp (I got the Soar reissue as well at the same time) and get the other 3 FT offerings for dino mode if they're rereleased as I definitely prefer their head sculpts for Sludge and Slag because who knows if Giga is going to complete the Weathered line. But, in my opinion, Stomp is an absolute stud....as long as Graviter is nowhere near him.

 

I had to sit outside 7 hours to get my delivery but my replacement Graviter finally showed up today! My original Graviter was missing a couple chrome pieces on his leg and had a broken tab but I can see right now that it has all it's chrome pieces on the legs. ShowZ sent me a complete replacement after selling my old one off. So here's hoping it has no hidden problems.  

Now, Gaudenter is the only Dino left that I need! Never had the complete set as a kid and I can't wait!  

 

ShowZ is a first class company. Great service! I have loved their site and company ever since I started down this collecting road two years ago. I cant say enough good things about them.

Thanks to ShowZstore for coming through for me! After all this time 2018 i've finally received my Chrome replacement part from Gigapower... ShowZstore were able to get my requested part and sent it to me, again all safely packaged! I went through ShowZstore because Gigapower were being terrible with after sales support even though I did not get Graviter from ShowZ, they still helped me!

 

ShowZ basically pulled the sword from the stone for you! That's beyond awesome!!! Congrats.

I'm hoping for the same thing. Waiting on GP part... but only for about a year now. I bought directly from SZS though. Why? Purely for the CS, lol. Gotta love a result like this.

So I'm trying to get Graviter back into his box. But I can't seem to make him fit. Does anyone know what I am missing here?

 

I ran into this too, he needs to be partly transformed to fit:

 

^ Beat me to it lol but also @Dead End14 put something soft such like Toilet paper or soft foam'ish material between his armpit and wing/shell just in case for paint rub.

 

Ooh, that's a good idea - I'll dig mine out again and do that. As much as I love chrome on TFs I'm also bloody neurotic about it.

 

I'd consider plastic wrap before tissue because the tissue might act as an abrasive if for some odd reason it gets moved around.
