IIRC, it's the Diaclone versions that had chromed swords as a rule. But the weird, hasty, hodge-podge nature of G1's rapid worldwide success resulted in a number of regional variants like that, probably with some production runs still using the original specs to a degree, as they rushed to meet demand.

Damn. If only the side of the crotch piece (pelvis) were wider. Upper legs should have been 50% thicker and the lower legs at least by that much. Proportions are not great. Also hate the form of his upper legs, looks like shit.

I have two versions of Reximus but this guy will probably be my Grimlock. Both of the KOs are showing their age and are starting to feel like KOs. Joints are becoming increasingly loose and mold imperfections stand out. I'm excited to see the premium metallics and chrome finish on this mold.

Agreed. This guy looks sad. A while back Grinder was accused of having "gorilla" proportions. Last I checked, gorillas drag their knuckles. IMO giga Grim looks more like a gorilla. Anyways, this guy looks like he skipped more than one leg day.

    Yawn to both of you.....
Go back to your beloved Fans Toys figure if you have issues..
This guy is the best looking Grimlock we have - by a long shot!

Chill man. I'm allowed to like Fanstoys. I just don't see enough difference to drop another $200 on Grimlock. Plus I've had my fair share of QC problems with Gigapower in the past.

I don't care or want to hear about fanstoys in a none FT thread.

You must not go in a lot of threads then, because other companies are always mentioned in threads not pertaining to them.

I would like FT and Giga, but too much QC, at least on the ones I had. My favorite Dinobots are actually Planet X.

I was going to say the very same thing.

As are Gigatards. (Not implying that you are one.) I myself am not a "Fantard", as their Dinobots are the only things they make that I like that much.

In general, loyalty to a company is a bad idea, because the core purpose of every company is to make get the most money out of you with the least effort. If you don't keep on top of them and demand they stay on the ball, they will eventually start to experiment with what they can get away with re. letting QA slip, jacking up prices for no good reason, getting lazy with their designs, etc... It's a transaction, not a church.
