All the grey on metallic version is darker.

And yeah... That white peg... I mean that peg is chromed on the chrome version and doesn't seem to stick out like that. Not sure why it's white instead of grey here

 

On the metallic version do the dino claws still work their way out when you rotate them?

 

Yes. I hadn't notice any mold change or improvement on the metalic

 

Never bought any of MP Dinobots, but I am thinking of picking this up. I can never decide between metallic and chrome for the dinobots though (my gripe with chrome is the metallic ruby red, which does not appeal to me). The metallic gold looks a bit dull though in the comparison pic (and lighter than the promo pictures).

@ckchan: Will you do some dino mode comparisons as well?

 

I'm another that's used Show-Z before. They always seem to get it over to me in London incredibly fast so I've been happy with them.

Random question - So what's the hole in his arm for? In his bot mode, he has a hexagonal hole on each arm which LOOKS almost like it's meant to be able to hold something put into there - similar to Grassors guns tabbing into his arms. But there's no extra accessoriies that can seemingly be put in them.  

   It's the opposite with me. I LOOOVE the cherry red they use on the chrome ones so much. They're so pretty.

I believe it was meant for the rocket launcher like his g1 toy. I did ask gp before regarding it and they said they MAY produce the rocket launcher later.

I don’t care much because these boys will probably stay in robot mode. I am keeping my MP Grimmy in Dino mode.

Superator definitely in dino mode!

 

All five of my chrome GP Dino’s are going to live their lives as Dino’s. Robot modes are the alt modes as far as I’m concerned. Except for metallic red Swoop. He’s robot mode as he’s the only not chromed GP I have. He’s running around with dual swords terrorizing Sunstorm.

 

Over all. The dino eyes, the fact the robot head can't be turned to the side and look down, lack of ankle tilt, and can't remember if Grinder could do it but I thought it had more bend in the arms than Superator has.

I do like the metallic colors and size. I just wish Giga would've took the time to give this figure the full justice it deserved and now feel like he's the weakest of the trio.

I used a flat blade cell phone repair tool. And attacked it at the bottom/side where the 2 tips point down... there are no tabs there to break. Popped right off. Look at a pic of the chest w/o the piece attached.

 

this is very helpful. i will try mine once I get it. I still lean to put the sticker on without the chest piece. or put on the non-color clear one if somehow I manage to get one. otherwise, I need to put the symbol on the surface of the smoky one if I snap it on. now at least i know there is a way to undo it.
