Just ordered a couple of chromes. Haven’t opened them but over last few days after ordering them I read A few collectors here say chrome had some chipping.

Is this a prevalent issue others have seen and if so is the chipping limited to the chrome As opposed to the metallic version

 

Ive had chrome Guttur and Graviter and transformed them both of them 4 or 5 times and had zero issues with chipping. It seemed extremely durable to me.

 

I prefer the chrome. I have 2 sets and none have chipping issues.

 

How often do you transform them?

On a different note, I will have a new, MISB Chrome Superator (Grimlock) for sale later this week, if anyone is interested.

 

Chrome for me. No chipping but I’ve only transformed them a few times. Good thing with these figures is there is no wrong answer because both look incredible.

 

Not sure if they are doing a reprint but this eBay seller Slag in chrome might be reissued for October...they could also be lying.

 

Go chrome or go home.  

 

I got both chrome and metallic for superator and I'd definitely go with chrome. gigapower is all about shelf presence and chrome goes very well with the giga figures. Mine haven't chipped as well. Chrome or the battle damaged one is better than metallic.
