Some nice accessories indeed. Wonder if the sword has a light gimmick at all.

 

Those are some nice flame accessories... odd in a way but somehow fits in with the dinobots quite nicely. I like how far giga power has come since their announcement and I hope for those that are set on giga power's dinobots will be well rewarded for their patience but for now I'm sticking with fans toys. That's quite the awesome looking snarl but doesn't fit me for some reason still.

 

That's my plan. Fantoys for Dino mode and Giga for bots, provided they all look as good as Guttur.

 

I'm the opposite. FT bots and GP dinos. I really hope GP capture the G1 toy feel of Grimlock in dino-mode. TT's totally put me off Masterpiece Grimlock originally because it wasn't toy-aesthetic enough for me.

I realise it may just be speculation at this point, with no official confirmation, but GP seem to be pushing a toy aesthetic, which is exactly what I want for my dinobots in dino-mode. Sever vs Guttur seems to confirm that direction so far.

All that said I totally understand why some people will be going GP bots, for sheer size, a la Guttur and Wheeljack pic. Looks awesome!

the flame accessories do nothing for me

 

Hopefully the price doesn't scare me away.

 

So this guy next to mp Jackie looks enormous. Almost too big IMO. And I just saw the flame accessories and can't for the life of me remember seeing snarl have anything flame related.

Are flames going to be a "thing" for all their Dino releases? If not shouldn't he come with eye or tail lasers effect parts instead?

Slag should have flames. Sludge earthquake effect parts, grimmy a combination of both quake and flames, swoop some "swooshing" air vapor trail parts for his wings that double as missile firing effects etc. Just saying...

 

If I remember correctly, Snarl didn't have flame weaponry. But at the same time, I really think the weapons and fire accents are a neat touch. Accessories that have a purpose can be pretty cool, and I really think these do Guttur justice. Maybe the sword could be bigger. Other than that, this guy is aces...I'm just waiting for a review to find out about QC and what to relatively expect from it. Hope it's soon, but if they take more time to fix things and tweak that QC, take the time you need GigaPower!

 

Does anyone know if this gold is the final colour? Looks a little too saturated to my eyes.

 

I have to agree. The lull between pic updates and a release date have me thinking more and more that these guys might be too big. Each Dinobot is going to be combiner size. Not sure if I want that anymore. Quality, price is still up in the air also.

I've settled on fantoys Dino's for g1 mp goodness, and toyworlds for their g1 faithful yet classics updated looks and dat combined mode zomg...

I like what giga is doing, but I only have so much money.

It's funny, to me, snarl was always a bit smaller than slag and sludge. What the hell are those two going to look like next to mp wheeljack!?

 

Didn't they all have "basic" fire powers to de-tar themselves in the Dinobot island episode?

 

I'm guessing the price for these guys is going to be 250 or so

 

No way! They'd be committing suicide if that's the price, the market for Dinobots is going to be a hard fought battle there is just to much competition.

At that price there is just no way for them to be competitive, it has to be under $200 and most likely in the $175 range. NOBODY is going to spend over a grand on a set of 5 Dinobots.

 

It is not final colour.

I still believe their "under 200" announcement. Would be very good price for the hugeness and all the accessories. Cant wait.
