I get the feeling a lot of people that ordered this Ecto-1 will be very angry when it comes in the mail and realize their 6 inch figures won't be able to sit in it.

He’s kidding. They’ll fit just fine after you pull their legs off!

It's 1/18 scaled and not 1/12, but all they said in the live stream was that it was part of Plasma Series. Everyone assumed it was 1/12 scale because of that since the only other Plasma Series offerings have been 6".

I'd really be surprised if something like ecoto-1 stayed an exclusive. I would not be surprised to see down the road only the afterlife deco is exclusive while eventually all other stores get the 84 ecto-1, and eventually if the line continues even a remold of the car into ecto-1a

I recently purchased the Playmobil Ecto-1 (GB2 version) since it was on sale at TRU for 25% off. Still contemplating whether I should open it or return it.

I realize it is too small for the plasma figures to fit in but does it display well in the background with these 6 inch figures in the foreground or is it comically too small?

I also purchased the Playmobil Firehouse and was considering it as a backdrop too. Both look good on the boxes but I've never seen them opened. My concern is that I open them and think they are shitty display pieces and I won't be able to return them to the store. Anybody got pics or know of a site where this has been done with Plasma figures?

Both playmobile ecotos look pretty good. All the markings on the car body itself of ecto-1a are painted on nothing is a sticker. They are a good size as well they are 1/21 scale which is also the size of the joyrides diecast ecto-1 so they are slightly smaller than what the hasbro ecto at 1/18 will be, and slightly larger than the 1/25 model kits.
All 4 doors have windows in a "down " position so no plastic is behind them.

The green, blue, yellow strobe light bar on this ecto above the clear lightbar is different than what comes with the car, that's the one thing that felt off and cheap about it to me so I replaced it on mine with a lightbar from a old 1/18 diecast police car

I'm gonna keep my preorder, in case they do 1:18 figures.

Gonna be real mad if, they end up not and make a 1:12 ecto.

Thanks for the pics, emoo! These will help me decide; currently leaning towards opening it since I'm not a fan of the new Plasma Ecto-1's rusted look. Still have 2 more weeks before the receipt expires.

Has anyone who ordered the Tully-Dog set from Pulse received theirs yet? I ordered that set along with a couple other things last week and I'm kinda wondering if the availability of this set is what's holding them back from shipping everything else. I know it shouldn't, since they tend to send everything in separate shipments, but others here have already gotten their Endor and Quint sets, and I haven't seen any updates on those at all (ordered and paid for everything at 12:03 on premium day).

It's a cool idea. Too bad it is scaled down in size.
