Ordered the Playmobil Ecto-1 & Ecto-1A for 38€ each.
I'd love to own the Eaglemoss but the thousand dollars it costs is 2 years of collecting for me.
That’s what I’m really gunning for. Movie II, Real Ghostbusters, Extreme, 2016, and you’d definitely have to do Afterlife figures.
I moved recently and have not been able to setup all my shelves.
Guys, these just hit my country @ retail! I’m abit shocked at their presence!
I got the Mattel GBs and how do the Hasbro ones match up against them? Are they better in terms of sculpt and articulation?
IIRC, the Mattel ones only had single joint elbows and knees, ala the DCUC line, so these are automatically better in that regard.
Ok, thanks! I think I will pick up the four main guys first. I liked the face sculpts on the Hasbro versions but the uniform colours are a tad light.
I'd love to get Real Ghostbusters ghosts in future waves: Sandman, Boogieman, even more obscure ghosts from the original toyline like the H2 ghost and the Bug-Eye ghost.
I think a Real Ghostbusters wave would be pretty easy. Just sculpt new heads and color the jumpsuits to the character's color. Don't think there would need to be new bodies sculpted.
I'm really hoping LEGO ends up doing a couple RGB sets.
Got my Stay Puft and Slimer from Zavvi UK. Slimer package is in good condition but the Stay Puft was a little dinged. Neither have the Who you gonna call logo.
I really hope they release Real Ghostbusters versions in the plasma series. Instead of build a figures I would BB prefer little ghosts like the old Kenner figures came with. I love the movies, but the cartoon was one of my favorites as a young Apeface. There’s also a lot of awesome ghosts they can make to fill in the waves.
Damn you, Hasbro.
Damn you, all to hell!
I almost did the same thing a week ago...lol. I had all four in my hands at the store. I think the only thing that stopped me was that they only had one copy of Peter and he had a splotch of brown paint on his face.
I made a pact with myself that, I'd buy if there were all four. Didn't figure if it would happen.
The only paint issue on mine are, the undershirt collars.
I finally saw these in store they look better than the reviews made them out to look.
It was crazy to see the slimer vintage card ghost on shelf
After all the first run sell outs, these are peg warming in my area. It’s Stay Puft & Slimer you can’t find.
I don't like the look of the Hasbro Dana at all. The dress color is totally wrong. Terror dog seems way too big as well.
I think people caught wind of Hasbro's "Who ya gonna call?", booboo.
Toyshield is making cases for these. Im going to buy some.
Okay, I picked up Plasma Ray and Peter and quiet honestly loved them. The face print tech looks great, the accessories look great, and the pose-ability is good enough for a Ghostbuster.
Apparently though, these figures are getting terrible reviews from all the “big” action figure reviewers. Why all the hate? I see they are a little small for 6 inch in comparison to Marvel Legends/black series, etc, but I don’t really mix my lines, so it is not that big of a deal.
The only problems I saw with the figures would be getting the backpack fastened and not causing stress marks. They could also use a little weathering on the uniform, but outside of that they are fine. I sometimes feel like reviewers think every figure should be poseable like Spider-Man and quality like Figuarts for a $20 price tag. Just my 2 cents.
