Yea that sucks to hear. Also, people that are getting in the unslimed Venkman figure, check your figures belt, someone has reported that they got a messed up figure, Mattel put a belt on his that had the gloves on his belt and they just simply cut it off, so you guys need to pay attention to your figure.
That's Tombstone Tackle, and Optimus Vader, you need a bigger Beetlejuice, I just use the NECA version, it fits the figure style, a little tall but he looks good none the less.
I definitely need a NECA Beet. That crappy little figure in the picture I posted was just a quick toss in for a picture before it went in a bin and in the attic. I raided my parent's attic over the long weekend--that was in my little bro's pile of crap, so I took it I'm a big Beetlejuice fan though, so I'd like a NECA version to pose with or without the GB's. I'm hoping TRU gets that red tux version of the cult classics icons series.
I'm starting to wonder why I jump on their site the second things go on sale. You can go there and buy one with no wait right now. I think everyone is just fighting themselves by trying to get one bought asap. I guess we have no way of knowing how long they'll last, but so far for me I could've casually brought up that site an hour or two after things go on sale and not deal with that auto-refresh screen, all three of the times I've bought from that site.
I already bought 3 None are for me, but far less expensive than building 3 more PKE meters for my friends. Anyway, question for you guys. I recently bought a stash of the new Venkman figures for the proton stream effects and I have some issues with them. Specifically, if I leave them attached for too long, the proton gun tips will sag. This is especially bad on my GB2 figures. My question to you all is this: is there anyway to stiffen up the proton guns? Maybe a spray or adhesive I would need to brush on.
Hmmm, purhaps use a pin and be very careful? Even a paperclip. I think if you heat up the paperclip or pin and insert it, it will go in easily. Again, I haven't tried this, it seems like a logical idea. I know that one of our Radicons who did the zombies, used a heated paperclip to make bullet holes on figures, so, I don't see why that can't be used in the same method. Again, this is all in theory. As for those PKE's, I picked up 2. Haven't yet figured out why 2...but...I may eventually.
Well, that does seem like a first ideal. After all, I did purchase a second one of those Green Luke FX sabers from a few years ago...I still haven't figured out why on that one. I mean, it is one thing to buy a $20 or less item and doing that, but a $60+?
Dude, had I of had the money, I would have bought 3 or more. Not to mention I know of other people that have actually purchased all 10 that Mattel would allow, so it's really not that far fetched of an idea.
