no, not those cartoon versions from the 90's. i was wondering if anyone knows of any movie accurate figures or statues of the 4 ghostbusters? i have a huge 16 inch mr stay puft and i thought it'd be cool to have the 4 ghostbusters too.
McFarland made a line of Ghostbusters figures I think a few years ago. But unfortunantly, they only made Gozer, Slimer, and the two dogs from the first movie. Never made the actual Ghostbusters. Stupid stupid stupid.
yeah, i have the stay puft from that line i think. i dont have the box anymore so i cant check, but i know theres a gozer, slimer and the 2 dogs in the same line. oh well!
Hugh Grant knows all about that! Whoo! Ugh, which reminds me, I was in the pub one time waiting to get served, and this woman was like "Hey you look like Hugh Grant" I replied "Fuck off." I am a nice boy.
um...right anyway to answer your question: the figures were made by Neca, they were going to do the four busters in the second wave as there had been some issue with likeness rights but that was the last anyone ever heard of it. No other movie accurate figures, just the oens from the 80's
I still want a giant Stay Puft toy to fight my Unicron. and an Ecto-1 Alternator. Wonder if Hasbro will evar make any 1959 Cadillac ambulances? You could ask someone, but who ya gonna call?
Yep...according to the latest ToyFare Mag, Billy Murry still has yet to sign on the dotted line for his likeness rights to be used for the toys. Whether or not that means the other three already have, I don't know. But at this point it seems movie-acurate Ghostbuster figs are just a dream -Shifty
All the others aren't still bankable at the box office, so Murray really has no reason to sign. Although he SHOULD.
They even sent Murray a custom Peter Venkman figure, and he still won't do it. What if they did the other 3 Ghostbusters and left him out? That'd be weird.
That's crazy. What's your source on that? I never would have thought he would be such a jerk about it.
