RG version of Samhain was cool, but for me, their version of The Boogieman was #1.
Filming starts next week!
‘Ghostbusters 2020’ Rounds Out Cast With Two Newcomers (EXCLUSIVE)
I'm hoping they don't go with Oscar and any residual Vigo-ness.
Yeah, that would suck.
It's filming! It's really going to get made this time!
Little girl looks mysteriously like Egon. Same glasses. Granddaughter maybe?
Huh. That Wolfheart kid is in a role that doesn’t take place in The 80’s.
But it's an 80's property, so the streak continues
Can’t argue with that.
The rumor is the family are spenglers.

Now, in GB2 I thought they just upgraded their Ecto mobile; but I guess Ray and Egon went out and found another Caddy ambulance and built a new Ecto?
Ya when I saw these pictures I thought it was weird that it wasn't the 1A model. Maybe after GB2 they had to sell parts off of it to make ends meat?
Originally in ghostbusters 2 the ecto-1a was supposed to be a second car just as it was in real life. At some point they dropped that and just went with the ecto-1a being an upgrade of the original ecto-1. That was seemingly the case in the video game as well with the ecto-1b having the same paintjob as the ecto-1a but reverting back to the original logo and lightbars and simpler roof rack. It could be in the new movie they are going back to the idea of the two ectos being different cars and will explain the original was stored away all these years. With the love and detail they are putting into the movie I cant help but notice though they put the roof ladder on the wrong side of the car.
If they don't change the design a little, they can't sell different toys
It's funny, they're filming this in & around my city, and all people care about is seeing Paul Rudd. No one gives a shit that it's Ghostbusters, haha.
That said, the recent spottings of Ecto-1 driving have certainly caused some excited commotion.
Glad I’m not the only person that noticed that. I looked and the image and then and picked up my Ectrotron and wondered who got it wrong.
That’s what happens when you’re in the highest grossing movie ever.
I'm glad they've gone back to the classic Ecto-1 design. I NEVER liked the 1A and there are tons of reasons they could use to hand wave the 1A away as they've stated they aren't taking the events of the 2009 video game as canon and I HIGHLY doubt the comics will be considered either. My thoughts are, the 1A was a top heavy nightmare in 1989 (you can see it almost go on two wheels taking a turn in Ghostbusters 2). There's no reason to not think that between the end of GB2 and whenever the business shut down again they didn't downsize some of that new gear as tech got better and smaller... or just removed a bulk of it since much of it was purpose built for the over abundance of slime in 1989.
The maniacs losing their minds over the ladder placement are friggin insane. No one but the die hards will notice it's out of place since the casual viewer probably doesn't even remember there even being a ladder on the side to begin with.
(Also, it allows me a great excuse to say this movie is an alternate timeline if it sucks and I go back to the video game and comics being the actual timeline ^_^ )
