Hi, I was wondering, does anyone have a list of any and all differences between each member of Galaxy Force's Vanguard Team, and Cybertron's Cybertron Defense Team.

As this will be the final thing in deciding which versions to get, I wanted to make sure I got the one with the best paint apps.etc

Pictures would also be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

(P.S: I tried looking for the thread of GF-CYB Differences, but it would appear that it was deleted over the Toyfair weekend.)

    First Gunner - Red Alert:
Grey missile parts are assembled upside down on First gunner.
Wheels have wear and dirt on Red Alert.

    BackGild - Scattorshot:

    Exigeyser - Hot Shot:
rare cases of turret struts on Hot Shot being mis-assembled

I heard that Cyd Defence Redalert has like deatails of wear and dirt on his wheels, whereas its all unpainted on Firstgunner. I do not have either figure so I'm sorry I can't help much.

On First Gunner, the grey sections of the outer missile appear to be assemlbed upside down.... which they aren't on CD Red Alert.

The others i can't speak for.

:-( That thread was extremely useful.

Are there anyway to correct the problems with the missile on First Gunner.

From what I've heard, CD Hot Shot is the same as Exigeyser, or at the very least close enough to make any differences that exist totally trivial.

I have compared Exigeyser and CD Hot Shot, and I can say that there is absolutely no difference between the two. Honestly. None. Well, actually, my CD Hot Shot had a QC error, where the strut that attaches the turret to the figure was upside down, but I fixed that easily enough.

Eh? Could you go into more detail please? I have First Gunner and I don't see any signs of missassembly. By grey missile part you mean the battery cover?

There was a thread in the Toyark with pictures comparing the GF and Cybertron toys. Unfortunately, it looks like it got purged.

Look closely at the sections of the larger missle that spring outward when you insert the key - there is a mouth detail on the upperside of both that sweeps upward.

It would *appear* that they were meant to be attatched with the mouth detail sweeping downward.

Was there a reason that the Cybertron/Galaxy Force toy comparison thread was deleted? That was one very helpful thread.

Maybe someone can start a new one?

Backgild's missile batteries are painted bronze wih gold for the missile tips, on Scattorshot the bronze is gone. Also, on Backgild's force chip-activated cannon, the entire barrel is gold plastic, where as Scattorshot's has only the tip colored gold. Gold paint is also on the painted hatch in vehicle mode on Backgild, which was left off of Scattorshot. And finally, the dark grey on the missile pods on Backgild extends down the side so it connects down to the hinges. Again, this detail was skipped on Scattorshot

I saw CD Scattorshot today, he looked pretty good, and if I didn't already have Backgild, I would have picked him up in a heartbeat.

All threads started prior to a specific date were deleted prior to Toy Fair in order to prune the database.

Unfortunately, a lot of good stuff got lost that way too.
