Energon, but instead I suggest you keep your favorite figures from each line and take out the rest, no need to cut an entire individual toyline.

Animated, no contest. I like my collection of G1 reissues, the Classics-style figures are very well-engineered, the Movie lines are unique and well-designed and Energon is a personal favorite line. Animated was a nice line to collect while the show was running, but now that the cartoon is over and we're gaining some distance on the whole thing, my enthusiasm for it is cooling off significantly.

Personally I recommend weeding out the ones you don't like, you'll end up regretting it later if you just get rid of stuff from a line people say its bad.

That being said, try searching for some storage space for some unwanted figs first, it'll make the heartbreack easier when you finally sold them off.

Ditto with all the suggestions about doing some weeding throughout all the lines. Every line has some duds you could probably part with without thinking twice about it, but you shouldn't feel compelled to throw out gems with duds. There are quite a few Energon figures that could fit into your Classics lineup no problem, for example.

I said Energon, and I only own Divebomb.
Though I do kinda like the little guy...Even if he's a crummy transformer.

I say movie line, just cos for me personally, that's the one I like the least. "C.H.U.G."/Classics, and Animated are the two lines I personally would never get rid of. As far as Energon goes, some of them can kind of fit in with Classics. At least the Energon Decepticons were pretty cool.... Autobots not so much.

I mean yeah, I agree with you Satomi, but don't fault people for answering his question.

It was just something I realized when reading the other responses. I wasn't quite sure how the OP could arrive at a decision when people were telling him to nix multiple lines. You have one camp telling him to get rid of Energon, another TFTM/ROTF, and another Animated. I know I'd be hard pressed to decide if I were in his position. Would I be basing it more on what they said, or would I be doing it under my own terms? Again, it was just an observation that I finally decided to comment on. Sorry if it rubbed you or the OP the wrong way.

I think I'd actually split it halvsies: get rid of the energon autobots and the movie decepticons. I feel like energon gave us some truely awesome decepticons and the movie autobots are all really cool as well.

Energon. Save the Omega Supreme and Optimus molds for the bots and the Mirage, Starscream and Megatron molds, Energon had some horrible toys.

Keep Galvatron, Bulkhead and Shockblast from the Energon line (you can use them for your CHUG collection as Galvy, Springer and Shockwave), sell the rest of the line.

Next on the chopping block is ROTF line. Keep Bludgeon, Mindwipe and Skystalker, sell the rest.

You've already got CHUG, why keep their inarticulate relatives?

I'm in the process of thinning out my collection. Energon figures and some g1's are for the chop!

Few gems in the energon line worth keeping, like omega supreme and downshift (at least until we get a proper generations wheeljack).

Damn, how could I forget about En. Downshift. That figure is a very good CHUG Wheeljack. Keep him as well.

Movie stuff, because I did chop that out my collection. My Movie shelf looked like a murky dull coloured mass of cheap plastic. Had to go.
