There is, but we know nothing about it yet. Given that we have another year of Titans Return ahead of us, I doubt we'll start hearing anything about it until like, NYCC next year.

 

Personally my rodimus prime itch is scratched by original classics rodimus and fansproject armor. Also a pricier option but an option nonetheless

 

Yeah looks a little to power rangery to be honest.

I suspect we'll get Rodimus Prime in "Prime Wars part 3" assuming the gimmick isn't Beast Modes.
CW gave us a Legends Class Rodimus (as an homage to his Return of Convoy Micromaster body)
TR gave us a deluxe, arguably based on his Targetmaster configuration.
So yeah, here's hoping for a flaming space winnebago in part 3.

 

We could get Rodimus Prime in the Leader/Voyager Class next year (either Titans Return or next line)

 

If not next year, I doubt we'll see him anytime soon. There has to be one next year!

Honestly, I would get a G1 Rodimus. He has no articulation but is still a pretty cool toy.

 

I dunno. I absolutely love the protector armor. It can pull off some surprisingly cool poses, and firebolt makes a really sick crossbow (well before rodimus with a bow was a thing....).

As always, to each their own.

Still has the problem of being in that "Early Fansproject" aesthetic which consists of chunk in a way that would make even the blockiest Galaxy Force figure jealous and doesn't blend at all with any CHUG style figure, especially the more modern ones.

 

I would love if Rodimus would come with a Quintesson accessory, that he can store as a prisoner in his trailer. Because I also want Quintessons and I doubt Hasbro will ever give us official ones. But as an accessory like Ravage was for Hound, I could see it.

 

While not g1 hasbro did give us an official quintesson in energon

 

i agree that the Fansproject protector armor is a cool set. The 2 issues I have with it are the head and he's a pretty small voyager, so he doesn't scale with Galvatron.

 

Does anyone have a pic of protector next to tr Galvatron? I haven't seen it yet

 

You have 3rd party for that, cool quintessons for quite cheap
