Ok, so below is the WIP thread for those interested:
    Heavy/Scratch: - Gericault's "perfect" Mixmaster WIP

Finally finished this guy up! As a reminder, my PERSONAL idea of a "perfect" version of a TF custom is that it be close to the same scale as the G1 toy, and has certain of the G1 toy elements that, to me, make me happy and bring back warm fuzzy memories from when I was a kid!
In the case of Mixmaster, I wanted him to look kind of blocky, have the cab turn into his legs and have the big boxy weapon launcher on top of his head. In the case of this project, I opted for a double LED (one of the pics has them lit!) and cool missle-launching sound effects! I couldn't find any kits or toys that were quite the right scale to match the original toy, so I ended up using various bits of the G1 toy itself; the lower legs, the mixer and the truck base, to be exact.
    Enjoy! 20160831_155115.jpg 20160831_155153.jpg 20160831_155343.jpg 20160831_155423.jpg 20160831_155653.jpg 20160831_155707.jpg 20160831_155726.jpg

Thanks for the praise, guys! I'll definitely post some shots with him and my Scrapper custom. Next on the constructicon list is Bonecrusher; he's half built, but I'm having problems finding treads that are the right size. I may have to try and find an old G1 figure to cannibalize like I did with this guy..

On another note; doesn't anyone wish some KO company would copy War in Pocket Hulkie? I love the fact they made him actually combine; he looks great, but the price is pushing the limits of what I consider reasonable, even for 3P stuff! Anyway, good thing we can always make our own toys! Whoohoo! :)

Mixmaster? What, did you run out of Brawl projects? :D

Nicely done, man. I can dig it.

Does this little guy also have combining functionality?
