Optimal Optimus and the little Siege guys at Target in Valdosta.

 

Picked up Cog, Skytread, and the Duocon Weaponisers or whatever they're calling them these days at the Target on Victory, getting them was an experience since they weren't on the floor, but the one guy was very helpful looking in the back and they must have been in the system since I actually bought them just fine.

Bad news: No more Battle Masters so my OCD is still a thing, and I forgot to ask about BotBots. But I found Cog so I'm happy.

 

Did you check the short end cap display just before Lego? They weren't with the rest of the Transformers.

 

Good tip on that one. Picked up a Cog! One hound, one sideswipe,, and two duo cons left.

Nothing at the Atlantic Station target as of a few hours ago.

 

I walked all around looking for end caps just Incase. Guess I just missed it. Duh

 

Hoping to find some deluxe in NW Metro ATL. Nothing found yet other than Battlemasters and Micromasters.

 

Neither the Savannah Ross nor Kohl's has too much to speak of, although Ross has an impressive enough array of TLK stuff scattered around the store (no Cogman though) and Kohl's was legitimately surprisingly impressive as a store. Best Buy has a decent selection of toys for the holidays, no Transformers that I could tell though.

 

Sorry, we were there tonight. They only have 2 Cogs left from the deluxes. However, they still have a number of the Micromasters and Battlemasters left.

 

Didn't know Best Buy was adding toys. Did they carry Hasbro in general?

 

I forget. I think so.

 

Siege Deluxe at Barrett Target today. Picked up a Sideswipe and Hound. Still 1x Sideswipe, 1x Hound, and multiple Flywheels and Cog.

 

Anyone seen BotBots anywhere?

 

Not yet.

 

Me neither... likely to hit up Target a little later, so you never know. I have a hypothesis that they aren't necissarily ging to end up with the rest of the Transformers stuff, which would complicate things.

 

Toccoa Walmart had the blind packs with the stocking stuffers. So check your Walmarts and look for the red cubbies in the middle of a main isle.

 

Excellent, I was probably going to check the Wal-Mart on Montgomery Xroad tomorrow anyway. Target on Victory didn't have slag.

... wait. Middle of a main aisle? How far are these things going to be from the rest of the toys?

 

In Toccoa it was the isle that in front of the “Home” entance that goes to the electronic section. But I’ve seen the cubbies at different locations in different stores.

 

Your Walmart must be laid out differently anyhow. Didn't see anything just now, and I tried to be thorough both in stalking the toy section and pestering employees. That said, the blind balls at least are in their system.

... what's the most efficient way to get BotBots, you think? I've come up with eight eight-packs, but that assumes that the blind balls are always the same for each set.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the had G1 Starscreams.

 

Valdosta Target has Siege Deluxes and an Optimal Optimus. Still lots of the little Siege guys also. Didn't check for botbots.

 

Found some Siege at the Target at East-West connector. I got cog, sideswipe, and 'skytread'. I got the last of the first two. I wouldn't be in too much of a rush, I'm sure there will be alot more Siege after the holidays. BUUUUT I will say...the new Siege figures are NICE. They don't look that much better than the previous trilogy deluxes in video but trust me, Hasbro has stepped it up. These feel like a modern classics line..there is heft to the figures, tight, articulated, and nice paint. I think the price increase can be seen and felt in these new figures.
