I picked up powerglide (finally) at Athens target they had two left as of 7:25 pm.

 

Douglasville tru had both leader megatrons this afternoon.

 

This is great news as I have a decent amount of chance getting one with 2 Maxxes in fair distance from me. Really scares me with these Combiner Wars figures as I will most likely get the next wave exclusively online.

 

Barrett Parkway TRU in Kennesaw looks to have gotten a case of CW in among the waves of left over AOE stuff. Saw AB, Firefly, and Dragstrip. Left Firefly since I picked him up previously. Now I can form my makeshift Superion while I patiently wait for Air Raid. Have to say its kind of an underwhelming feeling getting these individually as I most likely will be buying the overseas gift set when it comes out so I can have Slingshot. Kind of feels like wasted effort.  

 

Got a Brainstorm from the 1st TJ Maxx I hunted. Found in Marrietta GA. Only Whirl left on shelf.

I called this morning and the (very nicel) young lady at the Douglasville TRU
said they were gone. Darn.

Which TJMaxx in Marietta?

 

The TRU near Cumberland Mall had all 4 deluxe CW figures. Nothing else of note. I'm really hoping to find CW leader Megatron soon (G1 style), but I'm afraid this is going to be a real challenge.

I did pick up 1-step Fixit yesterday. Not a bad figure even with the gimmick. I only bought him since I had the $2 off coupon (the one for 1-step and 3-step 2015 RID figures).

 

It's pretty much a given that we're getting Slingshot in a later wave.

 

Got 2 Brainstorms at TJMaxx, tempted to get the Roadbuster though.

 

Found but did not get both versions of Combiner Wars Megatron at the Savannah TRU. They also had a whole mess of CW Deluxes.

On a side note, I then proceeded to go up to the customer service desk and get them to look up CW Silverbolt. It said something to the effect of "discontinued", which I find bizarre.

If we did in fact get Slingshot in a 3rd wave I can only imagine the headache it would be trying to find him amongst the other figures. It would probably never hit regular retail and go striaght to online and discount stores.

 

couple of finds today...CW Optimus at Walmart on HW17, Savannah, Ga and CW Armada Megs at TRU

 

So is EVERYONE leaving Armada Megs behind? I have been lucky enough to snag 2 g1 versions because I did not care for Armada, but I figured he would still be desirable...

 

Kinda bummed. Have not seen Brainstorm in Gwinnett yet.  

I think that the tank looks better green but I think it has more to do with it being a very G1 look of the other that draws people.

Looks like WM near Barrett Pkwy has reset their Transformers aisle, saw 2 CW OP, no Leader Megatrons but saw they have the price label displayed. They also have the 3 step RID OP.
