Does any company make full on limbs for the CW voyager combiners?

MY kids surprised me out of the blue and gave me CW Cyclonus and Hotsot for my birthday but I don't have any limbots.

I actually don't want to buy any vehicles that turn into weird limbs. Does anyone else think it would be cool if a company just did some awesome huge add on limbs?

That would be a pointless project for any third-party company to do. You buy CW figures because you want the Protectobots or the Combaticons etc, not just the torso and four limbs that serve no purpose outside of combination.

I'm frankly surprised there were never any real CW-compatible limb bots made... Like, I can see why folks like TFC would have passed on it, given they already made several combiners... but otherwise... *shrug*

As for "Drone Limbs" a-la Power Core Combiners... I'd cast doubt that anyone would make them. That toy line wasn't very well received, and it seems that TFC and Maketoys attempt at making *good* limbs for the line were only mildly received... at least considering that TFC never finished their Iron Army (they teased a Core bot that matched the set) and Maketoys only made those generic drone limbs to go alongside their Fallen.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing new limbs... or future combiner attempts try to use the CW-styled ports. The one downer I find with the 3rd Party Combiners is that, outside of TFC's bots (up to Piranhacon), none have a "standard" system, and you can't go Scramble City with them as a result.

Beelzeboss had an Aeriabot Slingshot planned early on, then Hasbro released their Quickslinger, and it seemed to disappear.

Corbot V announced their next mold after their Allicon would be a Combiner Wars limb.

That's about it on the 3P limb front.

I'm honestly baffled nobody's doing CW-compatible Terrorcons, Predacons, etc.

I would love a trailer for CW Optimus (and the mold's variants) which disassembled to form the limbs for the super mode. Or PCC style drone limbs. But I'm not holding my breath.

I thought a 3P CW compatible 2-bot Liokaiser torso would've been a thing at some point. Huh.

This is the only thing I'd be interested in. Takara already covered everything else.

I think Corbot announced that they'd be releasing something in the Combiner Wars genre, but didn't really specify something beyond that? There's been some random guessing, and a few eager suggestions that a CW limb sweep would be welcome to combine with Cyclonus.

Edit: my statement was based on your own post from November. Ambiguity... meh.

All we need is for a 3P company to make a Scourge figure and people will buy 4 of them in a heartbeat to combine with their Cyclonus to form a Mega Galvatron.

They could even just sell them as a 4 pack, give one a different deco and/or head sculpt to be Scourge and the rest are his sweeps, and include a big orange arm canon for combine mode Mega Galvatron.

When not combined, the Orange arm canon could even transform slightly to look like Galvatron in canon mode.

I need this in my life.

This I would also love to see. Currently I use 2 Ironhides for arms and 2 Trailbreakers for legs on my Optimus.

    Yep, that'd sell like crazy.

Instead they all seem to be tripping over each other to make the same thing. We're getting like FIVE?!? MP Springers but not a single Combiner Wars compatible limb or combiner.

This idea is so good and well thought out, may it come to pass.

My kingdom for a set/team of CW compatible limbs based around Ambulon (that only go from bot to limb).

Bonus points if Ambulon can be split into two components on the vertical axis.

I'm more shocked that no one did a decent voyager to go along with the CW limbs... lonewolf never really appealed to me....

I would have killed for a good Onslaught/Silverbolt...

Considering what I saw of Vangelus' review of Lonewolf, you wouldn't want it anyway. As for the torsobots, the CW voyagers are pretty good, and there's tons of upgrade kits that solve the few problems people have with them.

We had a Sky Lynx that combined with random characters.
We had red and white Optimii that combined with random characters.
    Same with Cyclonus.

So it's not really a pointless project to make more limbs... or middle characters for that matter.

Except the OP doesn't want limbs based on "random characters", he wants limbs that are just limbs - no robot or vehicle modes.
