I simply can't stop gushing about hondasaint14's work on this Windcharger head, and now that I have some photos of my own work, it's time for a new thread.

While I thoroughly enjoy the RtS scout class Windcharger, I really want all of the Minibot characters to be represented by at least deluxe class figures for my Generations. That said, when I got this GDO Generations Cliffjumper, I really didn't need another "CLIFFJUMPER" for my Generations figures. I ended up using the head on my RtS deluxe Bumblebee that I painted as Cliffjumper.

So, after I got this head, I went to work. Mainly, I wanted to do some things to make this figure a little different than Cliffjumper from even the Prime series. The head swap is obvious. The other changes I made were painting some pieces with Krylon Nickel Shimmer, which plowking introduced me to way back in the day; it's one of my favorite colors of paint now! I also cut off the "cuffs of the sleeves" on the arms just to make the forearms a bit more streamlined and less TF: Prime-ish. I also cut off the bull horns in alt mode.

I'm not sure what all I'll end up doing, as this is one of my many "rainy day" projects that I just mess around with when I get a few minutes. However, I'm kinda to the point that I just want some of this stuff done and over with. :lol

I do have some minor touch-ups to do here and there. I also have the blue eyes and the silver for the headplate to paint. Other than that, there's really not a whole lot left!

(Test fit just to see everything, and also to see what small touch-ups need to be made.)

Totally with you. Deluxe size minibots all the way.
I'm actually hoping igear get Windcharger and Huffer figures done in this scale to complete the classics style line up.

Like what you've done here though. You can certainly see that Cliffjumper frame working as a prospective Windcharger.

    Good luck.

Looks great so far! I also got one of hondasaint14's Windcharger heads, but I decided to put it on a TF: Prime Knock Out.

Neat. I may have to do something similar to this and pick up that head and a spare FE CJ seeing how HasTak simply refuses to give us a Deluxe Windcharger.

Thanks a lot! Again, your work on the head really makes this such a nice project!

Thanks! It's a pretty easy project to take on if you paint the parts I did. I really adore my RtS Windcharger, but I feel the same way as I want these "Minibots" to at least be deluxes.
