So this is my latest ebay auction. It will be up shortly. Not the first to do Wheeljack out of this mold but after getting what we got, I still wasn't satisfied. I added his wings behind his shoulders to avoid any parts-forming. The front end is entirely scratchbuilt as is the head. His light sensor things (which are made of transparent resin tinted blue to give the effect of being lit) fold in so that the head fill fit into the chest cavity. He has a bigger spoiler compliments of Drift. The Immobilizer controller module is scratchbuilt and pegs underneath him in alt mode. The Immobilized Ironhide is made from parts of Classics and G1 Hide, with styrene and other random bits.
He has almost 0% paint on him. He was a srtipped down Red-Alert and the black parts were dyed and topped off with a set of Reprolabels. Oh yeah, and i'm debuting a new background I just made tonight! Enjoy!

The new Generations Wheeljack is cool and all, but I have to say I still really prefer Wheeljacks made with this mold. It just works better somehow. Nicely done! :thumb

It's because it's much closer to the Lancia Stratos that G1 Wheeljack was.

The new generations mold works perfectly as an "almost" corvette. But doesnt' work for the lancia

Thanks bro! It was such a nice change really not having to paint an entire figure.

Yeah It isn't the most awful figure but I always saw WJ as being tall and leaner. Thanks!

    Thank you!

Totally agree. I appreciate what Hasbro attempted but it just wasn't for me. And I know it's probably kinda silly putting a Lancia logo on a Lambo but it's mostly just as a nod. That's why I made it the lisence plate.

Thank you kind sir! All that background is, is orange posterboard, a gold sharpie and a white color pencil. I think I'll do a Nemesis interior next ;)

Amazing custom and the red alert mold really does fit Wheeljack better than his official release.
And best part about this Wheeljack, no parts-forming.

Exactly... the pseudo-lamborghini makes a really solid match for the Lancia Stratos. While it's still a pretty good mold, the Generations figure alt-mode doesn't feel right for Wheeljack, but also doesn't really feel sleek enough for Tracks... :(

But on the other hand, it's nice to have a few different molds to work with, rather than using the Sunstreaker mold for EVERYTHING. :D

    Allen,

This pic shows why you need to come up with a voyager (or at least a bigger deluxe) ironhide!
