So we've seen a good chunk of the line this week...lots and lots of opinions flying around. What's your feeling at this point?

I tried to pick some language to reflect a range of feelings. If yours isn't captured in the poll options, feel free to comment.

I absolutely love the designs apart from the tech detail in the sculpt. On some figures like Chromia it's really over the top. On Sideswipe and Prime there's more balance between Smooth surface and detail.

I really like the Micromasters and the fact that the action master partners are now target masters too following Dreamwave's mtmte.

While I am stuck somewhere between "Looks good so far" and "not bad, not great" I cast my vote on the more optimistic of the two

I might buy a few of the car-bots if we also get their redeco, but the greebles are putting me off and in the end I might only get Sideswipe and Red Alert.
Half of me is trying not to like that Ultra Magnus and the other half is trying to want it.
Other than that I'm still disappointed this is mostly big names.
    Might get Chromia.
On the whole, I'm not wild about what I've seen. A bit like with potp.

Sideswipe and Prime are the only ones I don't want so far.

Hound looks like he could pass for a Cybertronian version of a humvee which suits my scale taste.

Ironhide looks like a heavily retooled Titans Return Kup to me. There's something about the cab/chest that gives me a Kup vibe.

I'm liking most of what we've seen so far.

Be interesting to see what repaints they might give us. Some of my suggestions would be...

Ironhide: Ratchet, First Aid, Tote, Fix it

Ultra Magnus: Delta Magnus, Motormaster, Sentinel Prime, Thunderclash

    Hound: Iron fist, Scorch

I like that they ditched the intrusive line wide gimmicks and they're going for an accurate scale this time. The Cybertronian modes are hit or miss. Sideswipe's, Hound's and Ultra Magnus's look alright but Optimus' is just a more awkward looking version of his usual alt mode. But I'm definitely glad they went in the direction of "season 3 futuristic alt modes" and not "vague metal shape" like the FOC/Bayformer Cybertronian modes. I don't care for the battle damage either; I'm going to need to buy some rubbing alcohol if I buy any of these figures.

Overall I think this line is good, it's a step in the right direction. I just want to see more toys of characters who don't have good updates yet instead of more 1984 Autobot cars.

I like a lot of it, but there are aspects that I find questionable.

For example, the detailing on Prime and Sideswipe don’t match the rest of the line. Feels like they were made by different designers who just wanted to make mainline versions of the MP figures.

Other than that, I like the micro masters, the modular weapons, that Ultra Magnus, the effects parts, ironhide, hound, and other aspects. There’s a lot to like here, though I wish they had taken things in a different direction aesthetically (less g1 and more IDW, as an example)

I just wished they brought back metal pin wheels and wrist swivels. At least for the larger figures.

Everything looks amazing so far, so if the Autobots look this good then I can't wait to see what the Decepticons look like. :thumb

We're getting Sideswipe, a f---ton of "masters", a better Magnus and included gun effects. I'm pumped.

Went "generally positive" - I like a lot of the figures, I'll buy some stuff, but I'm disappointed with the "no legends" thing. The Throttlebots, Deluxe Insecticons, a few last minibots are all just not coming any time soon.

Optimistic. This Magnus is a must have for me. I don't dislike CW MTME Magnus but I'd like something more "vaguely geewun" robot style for my CHUG roster.

And I've always wanted Budiansky's Roadhandler on my shelf.

    Not bad, not great.
I'm thrilled by the return of Micromasters, but the rest of the reveals have so far not really piqued my interest, except maybe for Ironhide. Magnus is pretty cool but I already have enough Magni in my collection.
