I bought the KO TC & SW and I preordered this since I can just give my KO TC to my best buddy as a Christmas gift. KO SW I will keep since he looks cool and I dont mind him being the only KO in my c/h/u/g/rts/united shelf.

I'm glad that everyone who missed out on the BotCon version will be able to complete their set. Personally, I hope Generations Thundercracker is noticeably different so that I can justify getting him as a generic blue Seeker.

I do not think that most people with official versions of BotCon 2007 and Gentei Thundercracker would be hurt emotionally from this release (which is still unconfirmed as there are no pics yet). I have have both versions and am am looking forward to adding to my seeker air force. I am thinking that Hasbro releasing it may not be a good idea because this character is not as popular as Starscream and may thus stay on the shelves as long as Thrust and Dirge. It is good for those who do not have any version of a classics Thundercracker yet. I do not support KO versions so people who bought them took the risk. If this release it is true then a potential TCC Action Master Thundercracker is less likely going to happen, which is disappointing (Hasbro and TCC cannot use the same molds within the same time frame).

The last set to have sold went for only $80 + $15s&h: Transformers Classics Ultra Magnus/Skywarp TARGET MISB - eBay (item 260709878599 end time Dec-21-10 16:47:36 PST)

That's both figs, MISB for under $100 to the door. The $200 prices are bloated no-sales that sellers are hoping to have desperate buyers purchase. It gets even cheaper if people are willing to buy loose.

Don't expect to get the 2packs supercheap.

I got mine for 100 CAD including shipping in the fall - included some minicons, but still.

And at TFcon they were STARTING at 125. And sold out quickly.

I'm SHOCKED that we haven't seen any leaked pics of this figure yet like we already have of his wave-mates Kup, Scourge, and Wheeljack.

    What gives?

Generations...Thundercracker?! I must own him! I've got Gen. Thrust and Dirge, might as well complete the infamous trio.

Also, if TC is in fact released, will hasbro suddenly try to get out of making that Sunstorm we all want? They've only got him and the blue rainmaker left out of the Seekers to make (unless they want to do Action Master Thundercracker...)

Well Kup and Scourge are in the wave before this one, which is right after the Thunderwing wave that's being released now, so they're closer to release than Wheeljack and Thundercracker. And Wheeljack, we haven't even really seen any in hand pictures. Just the same official looking ones, and those have been for Takara's version I believe.

I'm looking forward to both of them. Count me in the boat of hoping they rerelease Skywarp, as I never got the 2-pack.

As some of you have mentioned, this could turn out to be a wfc version of TC. While it's highly unlikely IMO, it's a possibility, and I'd be greatly disappointed if it were so... I'll be holding off on the pre-order until we know for sure. Here's hoping it doesn't sell out or increase in price.
