I think it's been almost 5 years since I posted anything on this forum. A long time to go without drawing, but tonight I got the itch to draw and decided to do Generations Springer. I'm a bit rusty, so I'm absolutely open to any critiques anyone's got.

He looks nice, and your art is hardly rusty.

I think I saw this on DA a few days ago. Critiques? Well, I think you've done a really good job despite your rust. The details are really nice. I think he's leaning forward a bit much. His sword could use a little work. specifically the guard. Unless it's intended to look crooked. I think the hand that's holding it, while not bad, could use a little work. My critique is little more than nitpicking for the most part. Really nice work.

I hope you haven't seen it on DA because I haven't posted there since 2007. If you do let me know.

Thank you for the critiques. After looking at it again, I think can still draw the proportions and details well, but I'm definitely going to need more practice on posing and perspective. Definitely looking too stiff for my tastes.

Honestly, the post looks stiff, but there's a certain dynamism to it as well. I looked back over it again, and I still feel that way.
