Generations Skyfall, nuff said Gave him some light battle damage and some subtle WFC/FOC glow effects... Update 1/1 - ALT MODE
Bro,I love your paint jobs.Do you use Dullcote on the black parts?Because they seem like they have no shine like the colored parts do.Which is a cool effect in my book. And that last group pic is Bad-Assery!Great work as always!!
two levels in gradient looks so cool when you do it. I will try to continue learning this skill from the best
Thanks, I do use a flat black base and then all of the color coats are semi gloss. Yeah I had to throw that last shot in there Thanks! I was referencing Skyfall but since you mentioned it I probably should've gone with Black Shadow. Thanks guys, Rodi - just keep trying as you said man, you'll get it. I practiced A LOT doing glow and various levels of it. Sometimes they are more bold or abstract, sometimes more clean and smooth... Your comments are awesome, thanks guys!
So,does that mean that you don't do any clear coat over the painted black bits?Sorry, just curious.I'm experimenting as I post on a weapon.I'm just not getting the desired results.
Actually I spray the flat black base coats first and then seal with a flat coat sealant (or sometimes called dull coat). I then paint on semi-glossed paints. These already have a sealer in them so I don't need to clear them afterwards
