Found these guys out at the West Covina (on Azusa Ave.), CA Target this afternoon:

Wow. My Target has no Generations Deluxes. And the legion ones are all Megatron and Starscream.

 

Sucks that the Two Targets in my area which had the Cosmos and Swerve wave restocked...with the Megatron and Starscream wave. Blah!

 

Aw, man. Did they really? I rolled the dice and got mine from BBTS because I had a premonition that these wouldn't be as easy to find as Swerve and Cosmos were. Sucks that my instincts were right.

 

BBTS, HTS, and Target all pretty close to the same time. Not bad.

 

I was just at Mall 205 yesterday and they restocked with Starscream and Megatron, and I believe the last time I was at Fairview Target it was the same.

 

hmmm skrapnel and tailgate spotted at target...target? hope i can find them near me...me

 

Why would they restock old stuff, weird.

 

You guys think that's bad? My Targets & WMs have all stocked up on Prime & BB! Haven't even had a remote sighting of Cosmos or Swerve.

why is it that hasbro either never completes a team.. or takes them forever to do so..

we saw it with the classics seekers..

we never got animated voyager thundercracker.

we only ever got grimlock, no other dinobots.

we never got deluxe leadfoot, and roadbuster wasn't accurate to the movie.

we never got a human alliance topspin, but leadfoots figure wasn't accurate to the movie.

we only got one deluxe FOC insecticon

and now we're getting skrapnel but no other insecticons to be found.

it's just a shame.

a couple stores in my area have done that as well.

 

And just a few months ago everyone was whining about how Generations was going to be "cancelled" for the rest of the year.

 

Sometimes it's best not to bring things up you may not know the whole stories behind. most of those deluxes that got "pushed back" will never see a shelf in the US, UK, and probably anywhere else in the world but Hong Kong. 85% of brick and mortar stores will never a see a generations leader Jetfire and you can bank on that. Roadbuster and Skybite have about a 50% chance of seeing shelves in about 30% of the cities in the US.

And these are best case scenarios.

 

I should probably embark on another toy hunt soon - haven't even seen Cosmos or Swerve yet. : /

 

Got Skrapnel and Tailgate in my bbts POL but wouldn't mind picking up another Shrapnel for Hal Raye to sign at Botcon.

This +100000000. Can we get a poll about how many of us are actually seeing new IDW Generation stuff anywhere? My Targets aren't bothering to stock anything IDW, yet the sign & pegs remain... empty.

Being pragmatic and keeping your expectations low has nothing to do with cynicism or negativity. He said some basically neutral things, IMO.

Saying people "complained Generations would be cancelled!" is kind of over-exaggerating the point in other to prove oneself superior/correct.

Any one with doubts can check the new toy thread - a bunch of stuff on that list is (likely) not getting stocked by B&M ever, period. For example, the BH Cyberverse redeco's: anyone remember the badass lookin' Bludgeon from the Shockwave mold?
