Those scenes right there is why Geoff Senior was my favorite artist for TF UK back when I was young!! Loved it when he was the artist for any issue!!

 

Liam Sharpe was the best UK artist for me.

 

I agree. Though I’m in the US and UK comics were pretty much unobtainable as a kid (I went nuts when my LCS got a few and I devoured them! Death’s Head was awesome! He crushed Shockwave’s brain!). He wasn’t the most detailed artist like Wildman, but man, his characters had raw emotion and energy!

 

Geoff Senior's still about, too, and his style became so ingrained in my brain that I can spot it instantly even today. Still love it.

 

Exactly!! You can almost 'feel' the punches Galvatron is throwing down on Rodimus on that page.

 

Yeah, the crown piece needs to match the head. Like you said, hopefully we will get a 3p upgrade or someone can determine what color of paint to use to have it repainted.

 

yeah I wonder what upgrade kits might get made for GS Galvatron? Besides a new crown piece since we already got the toy gun. I would love a IDW Galvatron head (since I plan to turn mine into that version) since they is already a IDW axe kit out already.

 

Finally got Galvatron in. Not sure if I should put on the stickers. Kinda wish they tampo printed some atleast.

 

I can't wait for him to be displayed next to Rodimus.

 

I wish we had a Commander Fort Max for him to bite.

I easily passed on this early on, but MAAAAAN that purple with the grey pops.

 

It's strange considering I didn't want the original Galvatron toy when I was a kid, and I've never really liked Galvatron as a character (at least when depicted as a Unicron-evolved Megatron), that I find this re-deco of the Kingdom figure somewhat appealing. That color scheme is so much better than the traditional, predominantly-purple Sunbow one (and much better than the pinkish-purple Kingdom one).

 

I have Infinitor, but it’s just not the same.

 

Mine is supposed to arrive this week, cannot wait. That purple crown crest will have to replaced or painted for sure.
