I hope not, I like the glittery particle cannon.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until the toy is actually released and somebody takes Galvatron out of the box themselves.

I mean, f-primusunicron isn't exactly wrong either. Unless the security staff is literally made up of ninjas, I can't help picture people trying to make a sprint for this guy like that.

I know Hasbro wants to be more eco-friendly with their packaging, but this might be problematic.

Yeah, selects packaging is really not retail-shelf friendly. At my TRU they would sometimes print out a picture of the contents and tape it up next to the display.

 

The news post has an error. It repeatedly calls this Voyager Galvatron instead of Leader. It’s especially odd because points out that it’s a redeco of the Kingdom Leader.

 

It's because, deep down, they know he's not a true Leader class.

This guy does look really neat, but he's anywhere from $70-$90 CAD before you take in shipping costs to where I live, and I just don't see the value of price in him.

 

I\'m honestly kinda jealous. They still have Toys R Us, and there\'s good stuff there. They still have the POTP Punch/Counterpunch :/

 

I like it more now that I see him with out the stickers. The gray with purple crown is cool

 

The alt-mode aint bad but I'll still just sticking with the Kingdom version.

It still would make since if HasTak used that same mold to give us a Straxus/Darkmount figure.

IDK man..... DlX's were up to $20+ each back when they were open in the US. So I don't miss that notorious gouging at all.

 

They don't need to crack down on the theft. They just need their marketing team to get ahead of the leak reviewers. With all the product they have coming out every year for Transformers, Star Wars, and Marvel, there is no reason they can't do one reveal each week per franchise.

It's been a long wait. For years both Hasbro and 3rd party released Galvatron after Galvatron -- legends, several CHUG scaled, MP's -- and I never got one. Not a single one. Because they were all purple since the cartoon and movie made him purple.

I wanted a grey Galvatron, because the toy was gray and more importantly, the Marvel Comics that gave us a much better version of the character was based on the toy. Now finally, we get a toy version.

I have him pre-ordered, he's not cheap locally, but he will be worth it. Still months to go, but seeing the review rekindled my anticipation. Finally, a gray Galvatron. (Mind, I have no idea what to do with him, since I consider Galvatron a dreadfully bad candidate for Decepticon leader, so like the Marvel depiction he will be a rogue toy.)

 

It's also why they aren't "reviews."

Because we don't know if they've got a correct version of the toy.
