That seems like an extraordinary waste. You just neutered two toys, one of them being an expensive Japanese exclusive, before giving them to you son. You were better off getting him something from Cyberverse if he's young.

how is it neutered ? extraordinary/crazy waste. ? LOL nothing was broken, nothing was painted. Its a simple unscrewing of a head to give him an Orion Pax that he likes to play with in flashback type stories. and then he gets a g1 cab prime that transforms to a g1 prime and then combines with his trailer to form a bigger g1 prime . Both match the animation and is exactly what he wanted. Even he said Orion Pax doesnt transform in that way to become prime. This fixed that problem for him ( he is 11 ).
He has played with it for a however long ago Star Convoy came out, and in October he will be able to upgrade it with me giving him the Star Convoy head and trailer ( he doesnt know about those parts ). making a old figure new to him. Its getting way more life out of his toys IMVHO. And since I live in Japan it wasnt so expensive for me.

    exactly

and I do not know how its a waste anyways . Both cabs can combine to prime , he just doesnt like Orion Pax combining to form a prime. So star convoys cab fixes that problem
he likes Orion but he just doesnt want him combining.

    So I fixed that

He loves his POTP Optimus prime Trailer combining with his Star Convoy Cab ( with Combine mode head from Orion Pax POTP toy that I removed and put on it ). And this october he will get the star convoy part as an upgrade which I know he will enjoy and be excited to get.

Imagine one of your parents got you a toy, but then you learned that it's not the original, but was modified before you got your hands on it because it was in your parent's opinion that it would be "better" modified. And then you learn that said modification completely eliminates the toy's core gimmick.

Your kid wanted you to take apart POTP OP just so he could have an Orion Pax cab?

LOL, yeah , see you didnt even read my post , as that's what I said.

So, yeah He loved the idea of an Orion Pax toy, but didnt like the idea of it combing to form Prime . ( he is/has been, growing up on the g1 cartoon continuity series ) so he actually left the cab in the box and put it away as that feature wasnt something that was interesting for him to do. Then I knew about Star Convoy coming out and asked him if he wanted a g1 cab, combing with the trailer , he was quite happy about hearing that so I got it for him, I just gave him the cab minus the star convoy head. Which we just put on the POTP head on. And yep he was happy

Ill give him the star convoy head and trailer this October for his birthday. Hes going to get twice as much play time/value out of his toys this way.

You really shouldn't assume things so quickly wow.

Hey everyone, guess what? Once someone buys a toy, it's there's and they can do with as they please. It's not a waste if someone is enjoying it.

Oh no, you're not pulling this crap on me. You explicitly said, in your original post, that you didn't like Orion Pax combining with the trailer, which is why you tossed the trailer in storage and gave Pax to your son.

    LOL

    yeah

I actually haven't bought a transformer toy for myself in at least 22 some years. I do buy a lot for my boy

I actually sold all of my stuff to fund his and my daughters collections.

and to be fair I did say I, in my original post, But I do that a lot when I am talking here as its just easier. I do mean my boy and girl though, so I guess I could see the confusion.

If anyone wants to see my boy though check my new fan link in my sig

To be fair, you did say that you gutted the gimmick due to your own preferences initially
