To be honest the only combiners from combiner wars onwards that were actually any fun outside of the combiner mode were the dino bots and stunticons
and blot from abominus the rest of him was meh
but him and bruticus at least looked good as a combination unlike most of them in my opinion

the sea cons look good, but not sure if I’d bother outside of the main body since limbs are interchangeable, heck i just recently bought the dream wave bruticus upgrade set or should I say Baldigus
because now due to the gold armor....

    RUINATION AWAKENS!!!
( even if it’s the bruticus version underneath)

They look better as a team than in combined form.

Piranacon's lower torso looks too bird-like. And this confounds me. Because I kinda like Snaptrap's design. I just can't tell how the angles in the torso shield form. But I think it's the angular parts jutting out from Snaptrap's butt. They don't fit. And they are distracting. Snaptrap's whole rear shell could use some re-detailing. It just doesn't wow me like Tentakil's face. Snaptrap's rear shell should look more like Seawing's fins.

I think they look really good, I don't get a lot of the criticism. To each his own I guess

Not really into the seacons but these are looking really good, the Silverbolt mold still reconfirmed as the best combiner torso.

That would be ideal, but don't set your hopes too high. I don't think even TFC bothered to pull that off. At the very least, he should have the joints for his off hand to support it.

I'm more curious if they're going to include bits so the limbs can do turret modes.

    These guys look AWESOME!!!

Just last week, I sold my vintage g1 Piranacon in anticipation of this lot, and I'm so stoked to see my faith looks like being rewarded.

My wallet is ready, so there's only one thing left for me to say to Hastak:

This is the Holy Grail in my book!

As a kid I was fascinated with the Seacons and I had most of them back then. To have this modern version in hand soon would be God send!!!

    Bring it ON!

They have individual prices listed for Snaptrap and Skalor, so probably not.

Um...Not really feeling these prices, especially Snaptrap being more than a Leader class. If they were current US retail prices ($20 Dlx and $30 Voyager) we'd be talking only $130.00 plus taxes and fees. But even skipping a $35 limb buying 4 dlx and 1 Voyager we're still talking $200.00+ for nothing but retools. So HasTak is betting on those who spent an arm and a leg during BotCon's days buying these up on sight and will be getting over even if you passed on 1 limb regardless.

Unless, Pulse has a decent discount code around the release of these figures.

TRASH! Not really. Been listening to SCU too much, lately. I like it! I have no real connection to the Seacons. I wasn\'t even aware of the Seacon\'s existence until I was in my early 20\'s and happened upon a small toy shop in San Diego. It was right down the street from MCRD (I was a Marine at the time, 1998 or 1999.) I spent huge chunks of my paychecks at that place. Anywhoo, the guy had the Beast Wars 2 Seacons boxset. Never bought it, though. Kinda wish I had. I\'m all in on this set, for sure. I\'m all in on almost anything HasTak releases. Almost.

While I do think these will end up more expensive than a retail deluxe and voyager, the price for Generations Selects Smokescreen on TakaraTomy Mall is the same price that Skalor is after you add in consumption taxes (bumping it up to around 4,100 yen). So they might be only a bit more if not the same price as other GS releases on Hasbro Pulse.
