The key with BBTS is that they are US-based. If you order from somewhere outside the US, Pulse exclusivity wouldn’t make any difference.

 

that doesnt really matter, thechosenprime for example is also usa based and they havent said anything about cancellations of the figure like bbts has. it matters more where they source their stuff from

 

I think @Grand Slam is referring to the previous comment that BBTS orders directly from Hasbro, while other US vendors get it from either EE (Hasbro Asia) or another distributor outside of the US.

 

i was merely clarifying because that post implies that US based etailers would all be in the same situation as bbts in regards to pulse exclusives, but it doesnt matter where the etailer is based, it matters where they secure their stock from

 

BBTS didn't announce they were cancelling Seacon preorders until the first two windows had closed on Pulse. Many of us who switched to Pulse had, until the Pulse listings went up, been using BBTS (or some other etailer).

 

They didn't announce any canceling, show us some proof! The person that started that front page news about his order from BBTS being canceled was the ONLY person that could confirm this happened too. I'm not saying he made it up and don't see what he would benefit, but its odd to me only one person can speak for it. At best I'm guessing he was a victim of someone on BBTS clicking on something they shouldn't had and his order accidentally got canceled. As I said a page or two back, a rep from BBTS said to their knowledge there had been no cancellations of pre orders for those items.

 

My preorder at BBTS is still there waiting to be filled/charged and certainly not canceled.

 

Thats what I found odd about only one person being able to claim their order got canceled, because 300+ posts into that story when it was front page news and every single other person that pre ordered from BBTS still has their order active on their account for those 2 items, myself included.

I just made a point to post what I did because we don't need false information being spread around over this debacle that already has more questions than answers.

 

What sites have the last two available for preorder in case Pulse don't list them next week?

 

I got mine from tfsource. Hit the big banner at the top of this page and they are right there on the homepage.  

 

Expressed this earlier as well. At no point was there any concrete indication Hasbro Pulse wasn't going have pre-orders. ONE GUY had his BBTS pre-order canceled and everyone lost their minds.

There's been zero reason for this level of panic.

Patience has truly gone out the window.

 

Well, looks like Ages Three & Up have now sold out which was going to be my main backup.

 

People are spooked and silly

 

I think it's more the lack of trust that Hasbro Pulse has engendered in some people of late.

 

Oddly fitting since it's Spooktober….

 

Wow, I ordered my backups from them last night. Pulse has created a real panic here.

 

I put some in via TFSource for now. Just means I have to pay tax as well now, but I figure Pulse will put em up at some point. Nice to have a backup plan just in case, is all. The sky's not falling, as has been said, but I can completely understand people wanting a safety net just in case.
