I would be surprised if they didn't add a 6th member to God Neptune. They've been very waste not with the CW toys. They'll just throw in some fiction of a new recruit or something.

Seeing the art of Scylla, I have renewed curiosity if they're just going to recolor their bishie Tentakil they made or tweak the sculpt.

I'm hoping for pulse preorders in the next few days, since they are pretty overwhelmed from NYCC.... the TT preorder window is until October 30 I think so still plenty of time... *says the guy checking pulse site every 20 minutes...*

Yeah, I’m kinda on the same boat. Wouldn't be surprised if Takara ends up announcing some super big Seacons gift set later next year.

Kinda like how they released Super Ginrai and Godbomber separately only to release a gift set with chrome, tweaks to the heel spurs, and bonus Headmasters later on.

Sorry if this has been asked before, just looking through this thread and I see that there is "talk" of a boxed set? Is this happening? I don't get why these seem to be so much more expensive than the regular release combiners, I'm definitely out of the loop on this release.

Is this like a Japan only exclusive? Will these to be sold in the states eventually?

no there will not be a box set, yes these are takara exclusive with hasbro selling them as imports (hence the higher price)

I mean, they haven’t said anything about it yet. We're just saying we wouldn’t be surprised if it shows up later down the line.

As said above, no box set for the Seacons. If Takara does God Neptune (the BW repaint), and that's a very conditional if, then I would imagine we'll see a box set only for God Neptune. I suppose, maybe 3+ years down the road, we might see a Seacons re-issue all in one box, but I wouldn't bet on that happening (in the sense I wouldn't wait it out).

That's something I noticed as well. The designs in the comic being so faithful to the toys makes Scylla having a different chest plate and head seem very conspicuous.

I doubt TakaraTOMY would add a sixth member for God Neptune as it is not anime accurate. They left out all "sixth" members that Hasbro have created for each Combiner Group, and I suspect the reason that they did not release a Liokaiser is because they could not get the Combiner Wars' technology to fit 6 Deluxe Class members, or did not have the budget to do so; they are not doing bullshit like many suggested by including a Legends Class toy as the sixth member.

Honestly, seeing as preordering these is a pain, I'd very much take them in a box set, if Takara sees fit to do that down the line.

I don't see a Seacon boxed set coming. But I DO think God Neptune may be released that way. It would also enable them to ditch the sixth member and not be held to the 2-per-wave format.
