Yeah, that's exactly why I preordered the last two at TFSource because I didn't want to miss the window I knew I had while waiting for Pulse to open preorders.

Off topic, but I need to ask. How well do those monstructor/dinoking combiners hold up? Been tempted to grab them for a while now.

I think they're very solid individual toys (with a few sharp edges) and decent-ish combiners. Birdbrain's hips aren't wide enough to have the legs vertical (permanent A-stance), and the BB-Slog connection is a bit finicky, but once you get everything assembled just right, he's pretty solid and is perfectly sized with the CW combiners (a bit wider, but same height range)

The Deluxes (example - Gulf/Skalor) are Drones in Japanese media, and they were also portrayed as such in the web comics. Why would they suck? They had the means, just like you did.

people buying multiples did not limit supply, they increased it. these were more or less made to order (hence the preorder window), enough were made to fufill preorders with some extra (potentially, the leftovers may have just been cancelled preorders)

try quoting the whole post, they were made to order, if you wanted one you should have preordered at any of the numerous sites that had them up for preorder (including sites that didnt require payment up front). its a simple concept that many of yall are failing to understand. these were never going to be normal releases, these were never going to be available in any significant quantities after the fact. if you really wanted them you should have preordered and budgeted accordingly

And just to clarify, the pre-order windows for these were actually a month per set with the only exception being the Hasbro Pulse third set, that one was only a week but I know several of us from this very thread did our best to spread the news of the shortened time window.

Made to order toys, from a website that doesn't charge until shipment, that were offered 6 months in advance of shipment, and had very clear ordering rules is about as reasonable of a situation as this could have been short of these figures being lazy straight redecos of the terrorcons at mass retail. These could very well had been a Japan-only exclusive boxset that you could only order through importers for the 45 minutes they were in-stock. I'm incredibly thankful that Hasbro and Takara released my favorite Decepticons in a way I was able to claim my order and have several months to save money for it.

TFSafari I think has some of the Seacons up.

Pretty much this. They're shorter if you use any of the feet add on kits, but it's close enough. All of these guys scale well with each other in their individual robot modes, which is what's important to me.

4/6 Generations Seacons acquired. Just waiting on Hasbro to ship the final two now.

I do feel bad for those who missed out on pre-ordering these. I doubt they'll be hard to find in the aftermarket - but you'll probably be paying an extra 50%. If you can acquire them now at regular price, one should just do it. It'll be a decent investment as I don't see Hasbro or Takara doing a better version anytime soon. If it happens, it'll be in a Cyberverse-style show or some other not-quite-what-you-were-hoping-for offering.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there's another production run for these guys, it seems like they have enough demand to warrant it.

That would be nice to see for those that weren't able to get the figures or those that want extras. Though, I'm likely more inclined for them to do God Neptune.

I too would like a God Neptune, though I don't see it happening for a few months.

I’m all for the rereleasing them for those that didn’t get them (even though I don’t feel sorry since we had plenty of time and many places have a no pay upfront preorders) so long as we get God Neptune.
