    Quick and dirty review.
Pre-ordered from GameStop, so I haven't had much time to mess around much.
The tolerances are much tighter than it's mold mates, and the paint is beautiful.

Nice. I'm assuming there shouldn't be paint scuffing issues at contact points, unlike Dirge and Ramjet.

Looks awesome. I'll give him a pair of the Nonnef Conehead guns to set him apart from the others and stick him on the clone shelf.

IF this arrives in my country (and recently the distributor has been importing selects here) I'm probably gonna pick it up as my first ER seeker. That color scheme is just irresistible, and I'm a sucker for the shark nosecone.

Damn! Sandstorm looks great! Congrats on getting him so quick!
How do the joint/tab tolerances feel?

I didn’t get to Pulse until three minutes after it went live so I missed it...I’m hoping that my BBTS preorder comes to fruition. I do not enjoy this aspect of TF collecting in 2020.

If nothing else comes out of this, I hope it indicates that they’re maintaining the copyright in preparation to do something with the original Sandstrom character.

I had it on my spreadsheet set to arrive in February, so I was pretty shocked myself.

As for the tolerances, it has nothing loose or too tight. It feels just about perfect. It's probably the best of the Seekers in that regard. Well, at least mine is. Hope everyone else's are as well when it starts getting into circulation more.

After G2 Ramjet eventually comes out, one can have their own Ramjet squadron.

His joints are relative snug / tight compared to the others, which is good. No misfired pins or anything. Agree that this Seeker feels the most "solid" so far. The colors chosen for the sprues are done differently, which is more reminiscent of Skywarp's layout. There is less paint overall compared to Ramjet, which is not a bad thing in this case. Unlike Ramjet and Dirge, none of the major contact points have paint on them, so there should be much less paint scuffing issues. The extra camouflage deco looks nice and helps to make up for having less overall paint. I do wish his face was done in the dark gunmetal like Ramjet's, as his facial details are harder to see. The crotch flap is painted, however, the paint layer feels thinner, so it's not gumming up the hinge like the Starscream type Seekers and works like it's supposed to. There does not appear to be any newly molded pieces.

Like the other coneheads, though, the factory still has issues getting the paint on the cones just right. It's off a little bit on the left side of Sandstorm's head (not shown) on mine...mulling if I'm going to redo the cone tip paint like I did on the others. The other coneheads had some errant paint on them which I removed with IPA. This one has just one tiny bit on top of his left eye (shown) which I'll remove later with IPA.

Damn, he looks great! Can't wait for this guy, BBTS says February... ugh. My biggest gripe is that I wish they had painted the frames on his cockpit like they did for the F-15 trio, irritating the way Hasbro swerves inconsistently like that just to cut costs...

LOVE this guy. Can't wait to get him myself.

The choco-chip camo needs some black in there to be super accurate but other than that it's an admirable try. Here's how it SHOULD look...

Had a bit of tightness in unpegging his right forearm after putting him in jet mode, but otherwise fantastic. Haven't repeated to know if it's an actual flaw or if I just pushed it too hard that time.

While I absolutely love the deco, I find the figure itself somewhat low effort when compared to other official offerings at the same price range. Studio series Optimus from the bumblebee movie blows the new seeker mold out of the water. Personally, I think that the newage legends scale seekers/coneheads have made most other options (regardless of scale) look bad by comparison.

Got mine in today from Pulse. He's simple & fun & I love the deco; the snarling face on the nose cone is superb. I also really like the dark face, it really sets him apart from other transformers.

Never thought I would own a seeker, just never really had an interest in them. I always liked the looks of the coneheads, but I figured if I bought one, I would have to get the whole team. Sandstorm is a nice compromise if you want a seeker, but don't want to play the exclusives game to assemble the whole team.

My Sandstorm has a screaming face like Dirge. I've looked at pics and video reviews, and haven't seen that variant yet. Not sure if I like it. 20201229_145441.jpg

That's an interesting botch considering gang molding and face being casted in that beige color. You sir win the lottery. Keep that one in package and order another one.
