I was just fiddling around with this and come up with a few configs. One very similar to yours. But I settled on a different one. I'll post some pics later today if somebody else doesn't beat me to it. Great minds and all.

Nahhh, she's all like "I don't need to be in no combiner to be tough!" As she silently cries inside about not being a combiner limb, lol.

 

I don't mind the Elita PotP mold per se. Making her a jet doesn't bother me. Her hilarious sock 'em bopper hands and gigantic clown boots that throw her proportions (and Starscream's for that matter) out of whack was my big issue with the mold. I realize that they're robots and perhaps human proportions don't apply, but I can't take her seriously when she looks like she decided to go to the fight in her Uraraka Ochako cosplay.



I'd honestly pay decent money for a @johnbonhamatron kit to fix her Boffo the Clown feet and get rid of her... forearms? Bucklers? I don't mind her looking sturdy - she's a warrior in most incarnations and if her design reflects that, cool. It's my opinion that she shouldn't have the proportions of a sports mascot.

 

Hard pass.

 

The nice thing about this mold is that each release has its own head.

@Insane Galvatron made an upgrade kit for the T30 Bumblebee/Nightbeat/Go Shooter mold, and it works on Carzap. It would take very little repainting to get Carzap into Minerva and use the Titanmaster that came from the God Ginrai JP set. I haven't tested it, but if it also works on the Drift/Blurr mold you could use the adapter on drift and you'd need to do ZERO repainting in my mind.

 

Just checked them out, hopefully with Lancer and Greenlight around they'll downscale to selling just the chest components.

I thought it was a blue helicoptor, which I'd request either Rotorstorm or Rescuebots Whirl (using one of the Victorion copter molds, since Whirl is a girl in that show) for that spot.

Honestly, I think painting the arm armor pink would solve that problem. As for the toes, I bet there is a shapeways kit for Starscream that could fix that here, too.

Actually, you can ask them to keep parts out and that'll cut the price down as well. I did it for both Elita and Starscream's kits. Love them!

 

I agree with you on the arms and legs. But for me the torso had the boobs and the coke bottle waist so that made up for it. I just feel a lot more could have been done if starscream hadnt be a factor in the equation. The combiner torso wouldnt have been the dorito or whatever people call it. And im sure they could have done something with the arms and the legs. But then again, combiner limbs have to be stable so she gonna suffer regardless.

 

Okay, who are those two?

 

My plan was to combine Cyclonus with Dreadwind/Darkwing/Buster/Hydra (as at least Dreadwing was shown to be capable of interstellar flight in the Marvel Comic, so not too much of a stretch to say that Darkwings could as well).

Still waiting for a Legends release of the last two...and I'm sure I will be for a loooooooooooong time.  

 

I kind of like them, but now that we have two more figures (and two more colors), it'd be cool if they redo the chestplate to incorporate everyone

I don't know what "propionica" means in this context. I looked it up and "propionic acid" is apparently used to manufacture cheese... so. Yeah.

 

I hope the 3rd party make a point to modify their kit hands and feet to match Victorian\'s version. otherwise there is not point for me to think about getting a upgrade kit if they are doing the same ones as before.

 

Firestormer or Project: Firestormer was a combiner comprised of Inferno, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Bluestreak and Hoist.

I mean, we CAN complain about the backpack...but just look at the rest of the team. In all actuality, she fits right in.

 

Shellformer or not, the Thunderblast/Chromia mold isn't that bad. Her backpack is hardly as heinous as the PotP/Siege mold. If they had just managed a way to engineer an additional foot spur and find a way to get the deck of the boat to fold up, she would have been an A+ figure instead of a B- for me.
