What's the difference between the Selects and Netflix versions of him?

 

Netflix is allegedly a rust zombie version

 

Naw, the rumor changed to it being the blue Sideswipe in the background of the show.

Its a shame, really, because Hasbro would be printing money if they had chosen a different blue car bot instead of yet another Sideswipe...

 

They just keep fighting tooth and nail against doing a blue Bluestreak. We've still never really gotten one because even the MP has Prowl's head because FU that's why.

 

The mind boggles that this hasn't been done in Selects. Especially in this era of fan service. Really dont want to customize my own but it may come to that.

 

Perhaps they'll finally do a blue Bluestreak for the Shattered Glass subline.

 

I'm gonna have to get this guy. He looks fantastic.

 

I wish they stayed closer to the blue of the original e-Hobby toy; it's not even that far off, but the brighter blue clashes with the black here (well for my taste atleast).

 

Isn't it a basic tenet of Fashion 101 that nothing clashes with black?    

 

Masterpiece Bluestreak has the Prowl head as it's the closest to the original figure's head in design.

 

Hah, that's what they say. Generally speaking, I don't find pure blue to go that well with black.

 

Its a relatively established tenet of classic mens’ style that dark blue and black combinations should be avoided because they are too similar. This doesn’t stop people however, I have worn the combination quite often and it works quite well, but brown shoes generally work better.

But these are toys, and this figure looks sharp as hell, better than any suit I could wear today  

 

Has Hasbro ever officially acknowledged blue Bluestreak? Takara/TakaraTomy have via eHobby and TTMall releases, but I don't think Hasbro's ever done anything with that deco.

Although I suppose that doesn't mean much, when Hasbro's never done anything with the other Diaclone 'bots until now, either.

 

They have by way of Funpub and the Combiner Wars Prowl repaint in the figure subscription service, which was an officially released and Hasbro authorized figure.
