    Indeed.

I have my Cell Unicron, and MechFansToys Headmasters, Sixshot, Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge next to him, so Unicron will go on a different shelf, and those other bots will end up in storage.

Glad I preordered this guy. He looks much nicer in these in hand shots.

Am I the only one who is... just a little put-off by his gigantic bulbous human-like face? It takes up so much more of the surface of his head than on the ER mold, and has so much more cheek and jowl surface area. It looks less like a robotic face than I am accustomed to, more like a doll's head. Black Armor Chucky.

If I'm gonna get this thing - and after all these months I still haven't decided - it will be something of a production as it must of course include Roritchi and at least one 3P kit to complete it. I'm delighted with Scorponok but am not sure I feel the same way about this.

That's only 2 months, not much of a long wait.

Yeah, Pulse hasn't changed their release date yet. We'll see, I'd love to kick off the new year with my first Black Zarak!

I honestly don't know how anyone can be an arbiter of scale for Black Zarak when it was all over the place in his few episodes, made worse with how it was never consistent against Overlord. But the same size as God Ginrai? That's either some selective memory or focusing on a shot that's more likely to be an animation mistake then intended size.

Even ignoring God Ginrai, the scale is "correct" against Deluxe sized bots including Hydra, Buster, and the fodder Black Zarak tears apart in other episodes.

I think fans shouldn't take scale from the cartoon as gospel for scale accuracy. Especially when scale was all over the place, and this is the same series where mass shifting is a constant thing. So it's funny seeing some people here pop out a scale chart, and debate why this figure is out of scale when the scaling tended to be off in the first place.

I get why people use scale charts, as that is representative of the intended scale prior to animation errors and such. In saying that, I'm a proponent of "relative scale". It doesn't have to be perfect, but things like POTP leader Optimus towering over all of the other Autobots just doesn't look good on a shelf.

I mean yeah, a bumblebee who is bigger then optimus would be weird, I understand that. It's that some people who think if one character's scale is not in line to a T, then that's an issue for them. I do agree with you, that scaling should be accurate as possible but imo it's not a deal breaker.

Yea, like with the Kingdom BW stuff, Rattrap and Scorponok are too small and Blackarachnia is too tall to be completely accurate, but they're still relatively close so they work for me.

In regards to Black Zarack, I haven't seen Masterforce much and so I haven't seen him in action. But I assume he is just as tall as ER Scorponok. Unless Black Zarack was portrayed as much bigger in Masterforce.
