    Dang.

Y'all think someone will come out with a sticker set for this guy? His original G1 character art shows so many little cool details that this toy doesn't have. A sticker set of some kind would be a must!

Seems like something Toyhax would be all over. And I agree, the MP Artfire release really sealed the "sticker detail" look for Artfire in my brain.

Yep, Stepper is the character's original Takara name. He was called Ricochet for the TRU reissue.

Hate to be that guy, but would have preferred the Targetmaster to be the right mold. The G1 had a TG with one long barrel and two shorter sub-barrels. A tad galling since Universe Cyclonus (who has the same Targetmaster was closer)

I'll probably give you extra rifle to exhaust since that's the version of the earthrise mold I have

I'd imagine Hasbro considers the Ricochet that kicked off Selects to be Stepper for this Generation run.

Technically speaking, they did use the right mold since the G1 one shared a mold with G1 Fracas and this shares a mold with Siege Fracas

Hey, maybe Stepper will come out with the blowpipe mold as 'Nebulon' to fix that? I dunno, I was planning on using the Sparkless Caliburst that comes with the Sparkless seeker for Artfire anyway.

As I'm sure you realize, these Selects toys have all tended to use existing molds. Was there a recent Targetmaster that better fit the bill? (I'm assuming the Universe Cyclonus TM is considered too long ago. It was used a LOT way back when, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn the mold has long since disintegrated)

For what it's worth, I had a similar frustration during Titans Return, when Takara went to the trouble of making all-new Targetmasters for their versions, yet those Targetmasters bore little resemblance to the G1 molds.

I’m surprised Hasbro hasn’t tried using the Targetmaster molds that came with the Legends Targetmasters.

    Man, that looks good!

Sticking with my United one though.

Personally, aside from the variety of appearances, I prefer the WFC Battlemasters, they're a lot more stable in gun mode

This figure is making me feel like I’m stuck in a loop. We just keep going around in circle after circle, and now we’re back on Artfire again.

Maybe this time I’ll wait until we circle around again.

And, as I alluded in my other post, they do tend to more closely resemble G1 Targetmasters.

Funnily enough, I was going to have my Siege Fracas serve as a Firebolt for my SS '86 Hot Rod (the colors match up better than Firedrive).

I'm probably gonna partswap a Fracas and this one to get a properly colored Fracas (grey torso and arms and black legs) and a toy colored Firebolt (black torso and arms, grey legs) to give Rodimus Prime since the LG Firebolt is with SS86 Hot Rod and then use a stock Firedrive for Artfire since it's colors match well with Sparks from the old United Artfire

I wasnt very impressed by inferno or grapple, but this guy looks fantastic. Awesome what a good color scheme and some blast effects can do.
