I jumped the gun a bit, but couldn't wait and I ordered the Toyhax labels for Artfire already. I don't wanna take a chance on Toyhax being out of stock whenever I finally get Artfire and Nightstick!
He looks good I never like this repaint of him always like all red fire truck look have extra add on bot with figure is always edition buy toys
Artfire just looks so good!! I've always loved his color scheme since I first saw it, and I'm glad I'll finally have a figure of him!
really curious, I got an email from GameStop saying Artfire is getting ready to ship, but hasn't shipped out yet.
Supply chains and shipping chains are cursed and have been for over a year. It is frustrating but should not be unexpected at this point.
I wouldn't hold my breath. They send those emails out, all the time, only to have it not actually ship. I received several of those over my wave 3 order and my Gnaw order. None of them ever shipped and I ended up canceling both on 'em.
Ironic that these are out officially since August month...And TakaTom's only showing the images now. Singapore Transformers Sightings
I never had a connection to Artfire but ordered one for my kid to support the cause. I've been getting him all the Diaclone repaints of G1 characters and they are growing on me, I wish they had been put in the latest cartoon at least as background characters. When my kid stops playing with these and discovers girls I think I will put Artfire with all the Diaclone recolors on their own shelf to enjoy looking at in a display.
It's either in that mess or the mess of ships a couple miles off the West Coast waiting to get into the port. Turns out building the entire modern global economy around paper-thin supply chains was a stupid fucking idea.
Seconded. It’s a tough call though. Cheap labor abroad means (hopefully) cheaper stuff here. It also means supply chain disruptions can cause real problems when you have to transport crap halfway around the globe. We’ll see if more manufacturing returns home to help prevent this from happening again the the future (hopefully we won’t see any more global pandemics anytime soon to cause this mess again, but who knows… probably wishful thinking). Companies should consider splitting up their manufacturing so half is developed domestically and half is produced abroad. You get the benefit of a cushion if supply chains break down and you employ your own, but you still benefit from cheaper labor as well (just to a lesser extent… it’s a trade off) so your final product isn’t as expensive as if it were produced solely at home where labor is more expensive. Then again… I don’t have an MBA, so there’s a good chance I’m talking out of my ass. I just want my TF toys before Christmas.
Quite true, though this makes me think.. if a limited run version of an excellent mold depicting a rare cool character is considered "non essential".. Then the ten millionth Bumblebee repaint/remold (of any line) should be considered a criminal, nearly unthinkable waste of natural resources that no one of good conscience should support with any purchases. (or unnatural resources in the case of DOTM Cyberfire's eyes.. but that's a story for another day. )
I have kind of done this by collecting only 3 Bumblebee figures within the last year, Netflix, Origins, and the Buzzworthy...err...Bumper figure with Spike.
