I was surprised but they actually sent a replacement (after I sent back the first one).

The replacement was WORSE! Haha! Wow! The left hip on Abominus doesn't even Ratchet!! The joint was put together so poorly that it doesn't even ratchet! The metal pin just swivels in the plastic!

I'm absolutely livid. I sent another email just now and I will be calling them first thing Monday Morning.

The QC with these fucking toys is getting ridiculous.

So... my set is fine. Maybe even better than the POTP version. Sorry to hear others haven't been as lucky.
::Edit:: I did forget that the combiner fingers are pretty loose. For me, that doesn't matter since I'm using PE hands and feet. I can understand how that's an issue though.

Picked one of these up for $220 (inc shipping) on Ebay today, US seller. Fingers crossed it’s not a QC nightmare. May have spoiled myself by going with the Takara Volcanicus first. Wish me luck!

PS - For those who have both the GS and POTP versions, is there any merit in using the GS parts on the POTP combined mode and then having the GS bots displayed as a team? I like to display my teams with their combined mode standing behind them and really don’t want to buy two sets of these Takaras if I can just “purdy up” the POTP version in combined mode using the GS parts.’

You could use the hands and feet on the PotP one but not the chest plate. I think the GS version excels in combined mode significantly more than the PotP one. So if I were you I would have the GS one combined and the PotP one in their individual components.
