Personally, I preferred Breakdown to Dead End and Off-Road, but looking back... Drag Strip was the only actually great one. I wouldn't be opposed to new limbs... as long as they don't take up too much space in the mainline.

Is there the possibility that they might re-do all of the classic combiner teams in a more G1 style for 2022+?

We are not the Decepticons getting a redo of CW. That being said, if Menasor does well we may see one a year.
There's a lot of ifs and maybe there, don't go in expecting a new Bruticus or Superion every year.

Hoping the set does well so Hasbro continues into the other teams.

I would personally love them to do Predaking. I saw someone mention it here, and the thought entered my head and I friggin' want it SO BAD NOW

If they do Menasor and it goes well, I'd rather that be a leaping point for Monstructor, Liokaiser, Road Caesar, etc rather than iterating over the CW guys again and again.

The reality is though, the Combiner Wars versions leave a lot of room for complexity and accuracy improvements. Combiner Wars suffered greatly from the remolding/shoehorning of characters. Unite Warriors cleaned it up as best it could, but Combiner Wars wasn't the same effort of accuracy we started to see with Titans Return.

The only combiner from that line I feel they don't need to redo is Devastator, and even he could use a new Mixmaster. The rest could all definitely be done more accurately and in higher quality.

Motormaster was easily the worst to me though, so I see why they're starting there. Scattershot is the second worst.

Personally I think Devastator is the worst of the CW combiners and would be most interested in a new attempt at him. I think the CW is too big and the individual bots and combined mode are severely lacking in poseability (but look nice!).

If they're redoing Menasor, I hope they go all out. Not letting the price point limits sculpt and engineering like CW did. No use if they're doing it half assed. Use Commander budget for all I care, as long as it looks good for display. Do it like Zeta, or even SS Devastator, where there are partsforming to help bulk out in needed areas.

The UW Motormaster also had issues with breakable swirly plastic. I imagine that lots of Japanese collectors will have a set of torso-less Stunticons at the moment!

Of all the CW/UW figures, that’s the only one with such a major structural flaw, and therefore the one in most need of an update!

i lucked out. you could tell he was pretty well taken care of. I got lucky on some used toys. Got Misfire and Greenlight for reasonable prices. I’m not a box collector so if it looks fine and the accessories are included I’m cool especially if thats the only way i can get the figure.

holding out hope for a used Haslab Unicron popping up on ebay in a few years.

Pulse orders are delayed now until July 6th. Asian release is due in about 3 weeks.

Glad I doubled up on this, so I can get mine earlier and wait for Pulse as the backup.

The only thing I do hope is that they keep Motormaster botmode in scale (WFV voyager) and not a giant like in CW. WFC has been nearly perfect bot scale wise I really hope they continue that.. Though seeing Galvatron I fear they are already moving on...

TCP hasn't gotten Volcanicus yet. Unless its asian release + transit time via freight.

I don't know about TCP. Toydojo got Volcanicus in this week and is in-stock for sale now, if that says anything.
