damn, i cancelled my pre-orders for the rest of the generations toys and reveal the shield, cause, i was afraid they would drop at the same time as masterpiece rodimus and that can't happen

i'll get every one of those toys eventually, but it won't be as easy, i hope distribution IMPROVES after the reset of shelves that is christmas....i NEED four of this toy, and each sweep will have a number (1-3) on his other boob across from the decepticon symbol, that is all i could think about watching this review lol this toy is perfect, blows cyclonus out of the water in awesomeness

Nice review. Thanks for showing off alot of the functions that were missed in the previous pics we saw...

Waist swivle and even hand swivles. Lots of ball-joints and posability. I would like to see if his shoulder kibble can be flipped up to the top, though... Scourge was always a little thin and lanky. Not beefed up and brawny...

Really nice wings; I would open them up (like bat wings). Weapon storage is a nice perk, too.

This review really increased the chances of me buying this mold...

I'm still on the fence, though.

I dont like the two mismatched blue plastics used. I know one has to be softer but I kinda like my TFs to match up colors... Luckily in bot mode, they are scarcely seen or well hidden...

I wish the blue paint lines on the jet front extended onto the wings. Theres something alittle off about jet mode. Color wise...

And his eyes look blue? WTF?

After this nice review I am looking forward to seeing the United version.
To see what Tomy can do to improve this mold before I buy stateside...

Great review! Scourge looks fantastic. I especially like that you can store his weapons seamlessly in his wings. That's really awesome!

Another fantastic Generations release. I hope I can get one before they're all sold out.

I pre-ordered mine today, along with Jazz. I had to go with the more expensive United version, as the regular versions are already sold out. Actually that's a bit too expensive for me this month, so I hope it is worth it! But I definitely don't want to miss these two! So I'm really looking forward to them!

Now all I need is a better Deluxe Galvatron to replace mine.

Really cool, I was surprised to see that his wings actually opened up and could pull off more of the 'bat-wing' look, that was awesome. Its unfortunate that he didnt come with a targetmaster like Cyclonus but the dual-wielding is just as good I suppose.

Thats a good idea. Buy either a Hasbro or Takara version and then 3,4,5,6 of the other company and make them sweeps. Awesome thinking

Quite likely if he's distinguishable from the American release.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten a packaged sample of Scourge yet? I'm curious to see how the wings are fit into the package, given how long they seem to be.

From Emgo's video review, Scourge looks to be as wide as one of the Classics Seekers are long, so I image, like Thrust and Dirge, Scourge will fit fine at a angle across the bubble.

Gah, How late to the party am I!? :lol  The design department have done an absolutely top-notch job on Scourge. While his altmode is very "blah" (G1 all the way baby... :lol ), Both his transformation & botmode definitely make up for it. His arm/shoulder transformation is simply ingenious & his botmode (w/ targetmaster-resembling gun) is by far the best looking Scourge figure we've ever had. Man I can't wait to nab him! :)
