Well that's interesting. I wonder if Highbrow will be a headmaster or if they'll turn him into a triple-changer, repaint of Sandstorm.
Cool beans. Generations really is kicking in to high gear (as if Metroplex didn't signify that already...) EDIT: Dammit...on the bright side, I guess this means the BotCon reveals are safe for now
Interesting news. I was just thinking about selling Energon Mirage and Dreadwing, and just keep Banzaitron, but if this looks better, maybe I should keep one of the others and sell the Botcon version... Can't wait for pics or more confirmation.
Actually, Banzai-tron and Highbrow are from the HFTD line. The product numbers match the older figures.
If you look closely at the packaging for Metroplex, you do see an orange VTOL resembling Sandstorm's colors near Metroplex's hand, possibly as a remold of Springer.
ah, bummer... guess i'll be keeping the Botcon version then. I saw that, but the wings looked like wheels, and had long wings too, unlike Springer, so I'm not sure how he'd be a remold, unless they engineered a completely different way to transform the toy. EDIT: Okay, after finally comparing the two images, I can see how Springer could be remolded into Sandstorm. It's a bit of remolding to create those new longer wings, which house 2 propellers, but it's definitely possible as we've seen with FOC Jazz and Sideswipe.
I don't really care, as I can't imagine them being anything more than unnecessary repaints. Sandstorm on the other hand, that's a neccesary repaint. Hopefully with a little retooling.

I'm confused, wasn't Banzai-Tron already made from Bludgeon? Sandstorm, give Springer a new head and I that's all this guy needs to be as an official "correct" version of Sandstorm. Highbrow is a weird one. As a Voyager I do hope he is a functioning headmaster but outside of using the crap movie stuff, who can he be a remould of? Or will he be an actual new mould? Will this signify Hasbro throwing their hat into the Headmaster race? Is FP in trouble? Is it odd that Highbrow is the only HM that no one announced? I like the drama lol
