    Hi All,

I picked up Roadbuster recently and wanted to share my views on him.

Firstly his weapons. Here is what he comes with:

Next up is his vehicle mode with looks suitably off-road and rugged.

Here is his vehicle with a potential weapons configuration

His transformation is quite simple but with some nice touches. His feet actually end up between the two windows on the vehicle mode and his arms really go compact.

In robot mode he looks beefy which I think is helped by a small head.

His legs are very hollow but the wheels fold up to cover that so I'm ok.

There are lots of ports for the weapons and many different combinations of weapons set-ups you can display him with.

Size comparisons with some of his fellow wreckers.

He has decent articulation but no wrist swivels. He is a decent voyager but perhaps not the same level as Springer. I'm not knocking the figure, I like it for what it is.

Hope you found this useful. Thank for reading.

Looks pretty good, thanks for the review!

Is the Autobot symbol a sticker?

Indeed. Like Whirl he comes 'naked' and has about 30 sticks to apply including an alternate 'Wreckers' Autobot symbol

I like a lot about this, but the head with its "vehicon visor" bugs me. It's a near-opposite shape to the G1 toy's eyes/visor.

That alt mode is sweet! It has an almost HALO/GIJoe look to it.
The figure itself looks really fun, minus the feet. I understand the need for them to be like they are for transformation purposes, but they just look... funny.

How solid is the guy in alt mode? does everything fit together without fiddling that much? I don't like TFs that is hard to align and gaps when transforming them in alt mode, just like my springer. Thanks for sharing with us!

    Ugh...the wait............

The color alignment in bot mode looks odd, but in a good way, like he is wearing two sets of armor. A nice distinctive look.

    And those BFGs................!!!

Much easier than Springer. Alt mode is solid and tight.

As always it looks much, MUCH better than the early promo pics. C'mon, Hasbro photography team, get your shit together!

This guy went from a "hell yeah" to a "fucking hell yeah"!

Thanks for the review unicronic. Looking forward to having my first modern Hasbro Roadbuster that isn't just someone else with a new coat of paint. Can't wait to have him and Fansproject Revolver standing back to back in my display.

Nice to see he ended up with double hinge elbows and pretty good articulation for the most part. I would've liked wrist/forearm swivels to get better "high-and-tight" rifle posing and aiming, but that may be workable.

I love the bulk on this guy that was evident from the first looks. Vehicle mode looks lovably beefy. My only tiny gripe is that he's basically the same height as Springer, but I think his scale adjustment may have been the trade-off for his sizable arsenal.

He turned out super nice. He looks far more beefy and less gangly than prerelease photos made him look. He looks great with Whirl.
