As you can see, it is possible to stand him on his hind legs, as long as you don't mind the visible robots arms. He's a neat little toy. Not perfect but I like him.

His backpack doesn't lock together as well as I would have preferred and his elbow joints don't have enough clearance for many poses. Aside from that, I don't really have any complaints. He is almost to big for season 1 Rattrap, which is ironic considering how so many toys these days seem to be too small.

His legs have a really neat transformation and his tail is made of a rubbery plastic that can bend and hold it's shape. I hadn't realised that when I took most of the photos. His mouth is also very expressive, which I stupidly didn't photograph. Also, I apologise for the lack of generations Rhinox. I have yet to acquire one, so we'll have to make do with the old crappy toy.

So, which devil must I sell my soul to to get this toy so early?

And was the dark ritual painful? How much blood do you need for a sacrifice?

Can't wait until this guy gets released, although in all likelihood I'll never see him at retail. Stores around me haven't gotten new stock in ages.

That looks amazing. Thank you for the review!

I love that he can stand up on his hind-legs, it makes him distinctly Rattrap.

Oh man! Thanks for posting this. I've been checking back obsessively ever since those factory sample ebay auctions started, thinking that somebody here would get around to posting a review. I'm pretty psyched for this lil guy!

    Nice group shots!

Doesn't the bendy tail have a wire running through it? Or is capable of holding a shape by virtue of the softness of the plastic?

    Thanks!

Nice! I had no idea how much I wanted a Rattrap figure with such an expressive rat mode until I saw those first couple of pictures. I hope a third party company makes a stomach piece that can cover up his robot kibble in Beast Mode like they made for FoC Grimlock because with that this version will be the next best thing to a "Masterpiece" Season 1 Rattrap figure.

Is it possible that we could get a few more pictures of him with Dinobot? Even if they're way out of scale with each other they like like they could look great standing next to one another :thumb

My questions for this figure relate to weapon storage.

Do the weapons store inside of Ratrap in Rat mode?

Can his weapons be stored else where on him in Robot mode...out side of holding them?

I don't know, probably a wire. I'm not about to cut it open and find out.

I've just checked and they can store in Rat mode. There's a port just between the back legs. They can't store there in Robot mode. I can have more pictures up tomorrow.

ya that looks excellent. Thanks for the reviews.

Def a bit big, finding the right figures to go with him might be a pain.

still dont get why the guns are clear, that bugs the shit out of me, but Im def excited about getting him.

I'd love to see a comparison shot with Rhinox or someone of similar height, please. :)  Great looking figure, will be buying for sure!

    Thanks Snowcat.

    Great review.

    Lovely figure.

I'm even more impatient for my pre-order.

    If that is actually possible.

I love the fact he can stand on his hind legs in beast mode. Will be purchased as soon as I find one at retail.
