To be honest, I think Paul was looking at this from every angle. Look at the rest of his comments in this thread. Also, considering he saw the reference on Twitter shortly before the can of worms was opened over here (so to speak), I took his comment as constructive criticism. He can correct me if I'm wrong on making this statement, but that's how I took it.

I defended Daniel (protoman) because his videos are the way they are. That is his style. I didn't expect to see him transforming the figure. I know what to expect when i watch a video of his. Much like people know what to expect if they watch mine, or Peaugh, or Vangelus. We all have our styles and if it changed, it would be noticed and people would probably complain. I didn't see the point in complaining about the video Daniel did because as i said, i'm used to his videos, his style and what to expect.

People ought to listen to people. It's really strange to me to see people blow up at Protoman over something so trivial when he is Mr. TFCon. Not everyone in this fandom is a 15 year old kid with a phone that you can bully.

Re: the plastic, that said... is it rubbery plastic, or is it the same sort of PVC Hasbro uses on their action figures (and now on AoE stuff)?

Because that stuff is decent enough in quality.

It actually seems somewhat mixed. The joints in the elbow/bicep swivel, hips and little rat feet all feel like that tough PVC stuff. The hinges for the rat shell, however are significantly more flexible. I have chubby adult fingers, so it's hard to get in there and REALLY tell. But those hinge pieces of the shell very much feel like a mixture of the two. Not totally soft rubbery plastic, but also not as thick as the other areas. Weird.

1st: I did finally watch your original video... The way you skipped the transformation IS funny :lol , and the rest of the review was very thorough and informative, thanks! :)

2nd: I cannot for the life of me get the transformation video to play! I even copied and pasted the URL and it went to you tube, but immediately said "error" and wouldn't play. Any idea what I'm doing wrong (if anything), or what the problem may be?

EDIT: never mind, I got it. Apparently, I had to tap the box in the upper right hand corner. Tapping the usual red play button (or the center) wasn't working... At least not from my phone. Weird.

What I love about this review is you showed us other areas where the weapons can be stored. I like how you stored his weapons. Can you post a pic where these are stored in the same place but in robot mode? Thanks.

    BTW, nice review!

I can't wait to get this figure.

Thanks man. Yeah, right now most everyone believes that the weapons don't store in robot mode, but the way your stored them in rat mode made me think they can store the same way in bot mode.

I just tries it with mine, and it's hit-or-miss, really. Although it could just be the one I have, and the rest likely don't suffer from it... You know how it goes with "early samples" :lol
Couldn't get one of the blasters to stay pegged in while positioned down, but both stayed in while positioned upwards, and thus causing an awkward silhouette. Although in his video they seemed to have stayed just fine on the one he has. Needless to say they fit in that little cavity without hindering anything, so it could totally work for weapon storage.

    Weapons

Right weapons store in tail in rat mode and I sides for robot mode , didn't make that clear in the review , the weapons can fit in rat mode in the sides but then the panels don't click in , please view my Facebook page bens.collectables for a full gallery

Yep saw your page. Great images! Sent you an friend request just now.

It's nice when the designers think of all the details like "Concealed" weapon storage in both bot and alt modes. Really wish that was considered a standard for all the figures. Hmmmmm
